Or the equivalent of 6 bailed L's...Triaxx2 wrote:7 hull points, because it becomes so absurdly slow, that it has to be repaired a lot before it starts to speed up. At least an M6 starts to get moving around 30%. Rangers are still going 25m/s.
That said, it's worth 3m, and that's nothing to sneeze at.

Dunno, I guess I haven't found very motivated L's. Especially with the bug in the Terran mission which makes them act r*******. You can capture them all and make 750,000 on average as many times as you like. Easy way to start the game with 16 million on tap, repeat the mission about 20 times...

Heya. Did a recent overhaul of a whole buncha' scripts to get all the latest versions and all that stuff, and somethin' rather strange is goin' on with this script and Cycrow's in-game plugin manager: I get the initial menu entry on the top level (not the actual bailing settings, but where all the stuff's gathered together so it'll be like Improved Races and Improved Boarding and all that other stuff) but when I actually go into the bail settings the window goes blank: no options or anything. What's weird though is that it doesn't seem like it's just empty, but rather that the text is hidden or something: if I hit enter twice, for example, it'd take two hits of Escape to get back to the plugin manager window instead of just the one if it was balking at the top level of the bail settings pyramid. The actual mechanics themselves are working just fine, since I get plenty of Bravado reports due to having the autoscan script going as well, but I just can't change anything, or can't see what I'm changing.
EDIT: I didn't, actually - had them downloaded with everything else in my big TC swag folder, but for some reason forgot to reinstall those and somehow figured "having them on the hard drive=having them installed" when I went to redownload them after downloadin' the latest version of NPC Bail. Sorry about the stupidity.

Have you installed the JSON parser, listed in the OP? That is needed for the menu script to work properly.Sorenson wrote:Heya. I have to agree, though there is some fact you all should know, going on up in price with fighters, M5 being the cheapest of the cheap ranging between 30k to 100k, M4's are usually around 300k to 400k depending on the variant design. M3's range between 1 million to 3 million credits, now here's a gap between the larger ships which is if you follow the trend of numbers which is the next up is usually M6's but if your someone like me who goes by the price of the ship instead of the role number. M8 comes right after M3, M8's usually are bought at around 8 million credits, M6's tend to be in the 12 million to 20 million range... excluding some M6's which are above the normal capabilities of M6's.

The vanilla bail rate on M8s is already decent. I probably get about 1 in 10 or better to bail (about half of them explode outright when I hit the missle they're launching), even without the mod. Actually, I think I've only ever seen 1 or 2 bail without the "vanilla" voice message and pilot picture. When crews bail via this mod, they don't give that message; all of the vanilla bails do.

Well, to be fair, I'm very happy with the mod as it is right now.ThisIsHarsh wrote:I suppose noone will be happy until I add options for every single class of ship. May be a while before I can do this though, RL project keeping me busy.
Class specific settings would be pretty cool, but honestly I'd probably set them all to comparable levels that they are at currently anyways.

I think, we all like this script
The point for me is, i want to board what can be boarded and therefor i use 'improved boarding'. Thats why i wish a separation of the M8 from the boardable M6/M7/TM ( i think these are all in the same group, ok to me). Thats my point of view and its not criticism.
But i'm sure, others have other wishes for separate options.
Please don't be offended by our wishes, i think nobody is unhappy.

They definitely at least used to bail in Vanilla. I remember making very easy credits right after release, as station defense missions almost always spawned a single M8 which usually had few or no Tomahawks and would bail like 75% of the time.TheEarl wrote:I never saw a M8 in vanilla bailing.
Is it possible ?
But i like this script and dont go back to vanilla
