If respawn is for rocks and not asteroid its only the matter how fast and if its a single rock or a cluster. You get extra time saving since you get rocks insted of asteroids, another time save is that your miner dont need to fly thrugh sector to next mining spot. And maybe its the matter of miner ship, i use baldric since in xrm no m3 have XL cargo anymore. Edit: M6 do a bit better than normal TS but still the rate of minerals is around 90-110 per sazura, entire mining operation did make me around 17 milions of credits. Cost of setting it all up was around 115 milions of credits, it include 4x m6, 1x trading dock for storage, and 6x m3 for patrols. I think that i could double the income if all miners would mine nvidium.
Seems that egosoft didnt intend to make mobile mining to profitable

Will try to set up similar mining operation cutting on some upgrades and with cheaper ships, and change trading port to Mistral SF for storage and normal mistral for sales.
Odd thing is that OOS size of a ship should`t matter, but still one of my slow and bulky TL gethers more minerals than a bit less slow and bulky TS.
