Hi,

Been playing a custom start but in a vanilla universe.

Decided to enable that plots using the provided director files - appeared to work like a charm - within moments of reloading I got the 'come to OL & help out the Terrans' message - which leads to the diplimatic escort link mission.

Noticed when I got to OL that there were TWO Exterminators - a little odd but no big deal.

Anyways I proceed doing various missions for the Terrans until I'm asked to do the Commonwealth patrol - where you're given 3x Rapier and have a couple of AI wingmen also. So, I'm mid-mission and my next patrol destination is OL. I enter OL only to be greeted with the offer of helping out the Terrans by escorting some diplomats again!

Now, while I can continue my patrol I also have the escort mission available - well I did until the diplomats 'left without me' - I assume I can expect to be offered this again.

Any ideas?

You'll be offered the eascort terrans mission forever.
I was still getting it offered to me when the terran and final fury plots were complete. Every time I jumped into OL it was the same offer.

I had a hdd death so will have to start new. will do a normal Argon start this time and not a custom as it got a tad annoying to have it pop up when entering OL.

If Ketraar could fix that issue or if someone finds a away to prevent it being offered over and over after you initially take it I would do a custom again.

I'm having some issues with this mod.
I have placed the files in the root directory and changed my name, but have not had the confirmation message. I have restarted X3. Still not going. I have visited OL and no missions have been offered.
The only reason I can think of is that I have nearly maxed out rankings in all the races except for terran (on zero), or because i'm currently doing the treasure campaign.
My copy of X3TC is a steam copy.

Any help?

I have also tried this with a new custom game, and i had the same result.

Ok, for anyone else experiencing this, the solution is that you need to have the files extracted from winrar rather than dragging them into the root folder for X3TC. This is because it adds the folder "director" to your game directory which is required for this.

I had thought to try doing it a second time but thought I'd end up having to do the whole terran missions over.

i noticed this requires the player to rename him/herself. i have named myself Thereshallbewings so I can run scripts., Will this conflict with this or overright it?

When you do rename yourself to "Thereshallbewings" the Script Editor is activated and your name does not actually change to "Thereshallbewings". From then on the editor is active, no matter what you do.

This MD-code does watch at the playername too. When it does notice that your name is the required, it will activate the plots and sends a message. You can probably change your name after that, because the change has already made to the plot status.

The new plot does not have any start restriction, it does not need to be enabled.

Hi there, ran into an issue while using this script when using other mods/scripts with it. My game kept crashing when ever I jumped to a sector or went through a gate to a sector, the sectors in question, it doesn't matter because it was just a random sector.

I noticed this because I uninstalled this and so far things have been running smoothly with no crashes what so ever... I'm gonna post a list of what I am using cause apparently something in the list of mods and scripts I use is altering the universe in some way that is making it hard to use this

WOW one of the best mods ever :) you are the best... but tell me, is this compatible with 2.7 version of the game and the bonus package 4.1? i wonder witch problems may occur because i played a long time customly and now i installed this mod :) i hope everything is gonna be fine :)

is every plot is in there ? (PHQ and Player sector) also compatible with 2.7.1 ? love to have this
It is hard to live since the xenon and kha'ak patrol recentrly

Hello again guys, i wanted to ask if ketraar's Enable plots in custom start mod is compatible with the 2.7 version.
The point is if someone got any issues playing with this mod in the latest patch... if someone had any problems with this please let me know.

Manny thanks for this, works perfectly for me, (until now :cry: ) I have now completed the Aldrin Plot, and the mission Balance of Power just doesn’t start :cry: , I don’t receive the message that starts the plot, even after half hour in SETA.
My game is updated to 3.1. I need to do something specific beyond the Aldrin Plot to trigger the Balance of Power mission :?: Is this compatible?

WOOOW this works perfectly 8) , with this update is now possible start the Balance of Power mission in the custom start, AWESOME, and this enables the reward for the Operation Final Fury too (the M7 Griffon) I received it immediately (once that I have already completed the mission some time ago).
This update works perfectly :D , and heals the crippled custom start for those that like me have started the game without knowing that the custom start has no plots.
I wish only to give a huge thanks to Ketraar that made possible for me and those like me continuing playing the game without having to restart it.

This is a great mod, but has a solution to the repeating escort mission been found? Personally i think its best to take the second escort mission, then not talk to the woman on the station in Heretic's End. It leaves the mission open, but i dont think the annoying message in Omicron Lyrae will repeat itself. (i havent tried this, i thought of this solution too late.)

it would be great if there would be a way to fix this, its the only downside to this mod.

To be honest I have no clue to why this happens.

Im also rather busy with other stuff atm so can really be bothered to spend again a lot of time trying to figure it out. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I got to make priorities if I wand the juicy stuff to be done in this lifetime.

Should time and patience arise I may look into it, wouldn't count on it too much though.

Hi there.

I just installed this script and have this problem with Terran Plot bridging mission: when I escorting Terran Scabard to Heretic's End anything is OK, but then Scabbard docks and anything I can talk about with Erin Iovis is shipiard and equipment dock coordinates. There's no conversation possibility to offer her working for Terrans. Anyone had the same problem?
