Heh. The delights of a gameplay exploit that some players know of that allows them to build multiple Venture Wharves and hence send multiple ships at once. Aren't you glad that these ships are not allowed to be modded in as super-tank everything-destroyers?

I'd say 50%+ chance modded ships would bug into Cylons and take over all our PC's. That's why I can't stand multiplayer games. There is always some troll that is trying to break stuff and grief people. I just want to be left alone in my sandbox!

That's also precisely why you can choose to disable (or just not log into) the online Venture gameplay features in the X4 start menu settings.
Currently, there is no mechanism to allow visiting Venture ships to initiate intentional damage to the player, although the player can indeed attack and destroy the visitors or even get them to bail etc. That is not to say this would always be the case if the online Venture features did not demand vanilla play by the visiting ship originators though.

It could also be a bug. Sometimes it feels that venture ships never despawn.

This is an invasion, they must be destroyed! It’s a pity that you cannot send a Venture fleet to destroy a specific player ...

Should I increase the amount of ships?
I only use about 18/90 Bays atm.
And you can't strike back it's a vanilla savegame persistent bug, thats fixed by now for new games, but I still have that save.

It's no feeling, they just don't despawn. I have deactivated the venture feature a long time ago and the same ships are still flying around at the same locations. I can't "remove" them myself without taking faction hits from the governing faction of the sectors. I hope they will change that in the future.Imperial Good wrote: ↑Sun, 15. I love finding loads of venture ships in a new game, they're absurdly likely to bail for some reason. Free stuff!
