First off, whats up with that trailer ? Its just a cutout of a ST movie. Has nothing to do with your mod.

I've took a look at the models you posted here, and judging by their polycount (80k-100k+ poly), they weren't modeled for this game. They look identical to the work done on www.scifi-meshes.com, where I came to the conclusion that you downloaded most of those models from www.scifi-meshes.com.

Therefore its not your work, and you have no permission to post them here.

Ok, I still stay to my comment that it would be a hell of a mod, BUT aslong as you are not posting any SELF created mods and modells , I think you should keep quiet, specially when you copy files, films and pictures without any rights or mentioning any creater as it is a policy on the website.

I wouls also suggest you delete the link to your files or add the copyright to the pictures.

Makes a bad impression on your cedibility :(

Those models are not from www.scifi-meshes.com (only the Reman-Fighter and the Dominion Shipyard but i changed somethings :wink: ).

About the Trailer...

When the ST-Mod are nearly done i will create another trailer with the new ships. first we must completing all ships and stations and insert they successful inside the game. then comes the trailer before we release a BETA.

Most of the models have more than 100.000 polygons, they won't work in X2. That pretty well shows that you know squat about modeling.
Only the Reman-Fighter and the Dominion Shipyard but i changed somethings
That doesn't mean that you own the intelectual property of those models. Stop posting other peoples work. I find it ridiculous to come here and post other peoples models and a cutout of a ST movie, and then spit big phrases like; "We're working hard to make it real".

At least they are attempting to do something with X2. If you are so damn great, why don`t you do better ?
If you can`t dazzle them with dynamics, then baffle them with bullsh*t :D

Instead of belittling what the guys are trying to do why not offer some support...a little constructive critisism would have been better recieved.
If you are a modeller/Modder wanting to do a TCM(Total Conversion Mod) of X2 why not add to their numbers and offer your services?

He hasn`t posted since the 22nd of April so may not still be around...

This is a very old post that was dug up and bumped..lol

Maybe a question on the German forum will resolve whether this mod is still being worked on or not...
