This is just a Brief thank you To all those who have braved the undocumented Waters. I cant wait to see what you do when You have the documentation...I myself cant make much out of the scripting language so I rely on what others make... again thank you for the cool mods and scripts so far.

Let me join that choire. Som of those scripts i have used i almost feels like they belong in the game. There are also a lots of scripts i have never used, but i still admire all u guys for what u can do.
I myself can barely make a simple website, so down this alley, i have to enjoy the fruits of the work others do, without being able to contribute to it myself.
to all of you

To be honest I didnt think I would see anyone elses posts in this thread...(yes I am of little faith) Im pleased as punch to see four even.! I am so so crippled in my abilities with modding...Im glad for all the help I can get...now If I could only get my avatar to show up
But I have to say Ill wait till I install my patch till I have read the posts over the next weeks. I can afford to wait as I have no reall issues except for the Xenon J thing.

I just hope all of you enojy!
At least for myself, the best 'payment' that can be received is that you post comments, likes / dislikes, ideas for improvement, and of course problems and issues you run into in the relevent threads that the creators start.
The main difference between official scripts / mods (patches) and those that are user developed is that the official guys I think have more resources to play test their stuff before releasing it. I spend a lot of time testing my stuff out before I subject the innocent to it, but there's always bad stuff that creeps in.
When something does break, or bad stuff happens, it takes much longer to reproduce the problem and list all of the symptoms and diagnose it than it does to actually 'dive into the code' and fix it. For this reason, having a hundred people playing it that can all comment on what's happening and what seems weird makes it ten times easier (and faster) to fix the stuff that pops up.
Most of my mods are implementations of other people's great ideas. I'm a bit slow myself. Come up with a great idea and let me know about it, and you may just find me shamelessly taking credit for it in the near future.
