Yeah I did, and I have tried both the new beta and the new stable version, but both end up the same way.
Can only find the X3TC.exe appllication, not X3AP.
Even when I try to add X3AP manually, I still end up with X3TC.exe as choosen application.

I just tested the Beta Version. I can select the Albion Package ... I installed some ship, started AP and could load my old save - but no new ships in game. Saved/Reloaded still no change.
I did quit AP and tried to relaunch ... getting an AP exe app crash error now all the time.
So be careful trying the Beta. I will try to fix it now.

The "stable" version is only stable in the sense that it has not been updated since March 2011. The beta is the truly current version, including support for Albion Prelude. The page descriptions and sticky links are very confusing! (And the link for the Plugin Manager in Cycrow's signature does not actually lead you to the current version of the Plugin Manager -- go figure.) But the program itself rocks, so whatever!Freeman_79 wrote:I have tried both the new beta and the new stable version, but both end up the same way.

Of course, the current version is beta quality, with frequent updates. However, from the point of view of playing the game, the beta is more stable than the "stable" version. If you read this entire thread, you can see that most/all problems with 1.30 have been fixed in the beta.
In other words, you might get the best results if you post your question about Plugin Manager for Albion Prelude in the beta thread:

(PS: You probably already know this, but the Plugin Manager -- and the plugins -- make X3 one of the best space sims in history.)
Peace through superior firepower

I have same problem, with 1.4 version. Fisrt time I installed it, it has found X3TC and X3AP without any problem. I have uninstalled it (using provided uninstaller), then reinstalled and now it refuses to accept X3AP. I tried many things (as running installer and Plugin Manager as an admin, deleting the Plugin manager directory inside SteamApps/Common/x3 terran conflict and SteamApps/Common/x3 terran conflict/addon, the registry keys ...) without success.Freeman_79 wrote: Yeah I did, and I have tried both the new beta and the new stable version, but both end up the same way.

Any idea ?

Since I couldn't find the thread for the EMP plugin that adds wares, I'm posting this here in hope I won't get banned or anything.
Anyway, after installing EMP (because of the Guild pack) new wares have suddenly started appearing in my cargohold instead of already installed ship's software and hardware and in the trade windows at stations. For example, Readtext17-10053 and Readtext 17-10073.
That's not the problem though, it's just symptomatic with the real problem which is that since having installed EMP my cargobay life support system isn't working correctly. I've got it installed, but it isn't detected by the game and it also isn't listed among the soft/hardware (or whatever the category is called, I forgot the name). What I mean is, when I accept a taxi mission and dock at a station, I get a message that I need to install the CLSS even though I already have it.
Help greatly appreciated!

That's good to know. I'll try running the game with it disabled and see what happens.Cycrow wrote:u shouldn't need to install EMP, as it should be generated by the plugin manager.
Well, it's the EMP version that was linked in the Guild Pack's description.Cycrow wrote:but the errors your getting sound like you've installed the wrong version of EMP

UPDATE: found the cause for the CLSS problem. It wasn't EMP at all.
While I did forget I had the cargobay full of e-cells, it's the game's programming that is responsible for the confusion.
Instead of the customer saying that there was no space left in the cargobay for the passengers, he kept specifically saying that I didn't have the CLSS unit and that I should buy/install it before coming to pick them up...

I've got another question, this time about the savegame manager part of the plugin manager. I have it enabled, but nothing changed.
How does it even work? How to get it working?
When it works, can you add and remove from a savegame's memory the saved scripts and patches?
Because I've got a few scripts I'd like to remove from my savegame that are breaking the enjoyment for me and the other option is literally losing over 100 hours of work by starting over again.
Also, is the PM 2.12 only for X3 Reunion or for X3TC too?
