Hello cycrow,

Just wanted to re-ask the Q below from zeddius as it went unaswered:

if you install the advanced jumpdrive accelerator, then you will jump pretty much instally so theres no time for you to get hit

Still 3 ranks away from hero of the feds.....I'll just have to add 10 energy cells or so for emergency use until I get to hero.

Love this script but I do have a request. I have several wings equipped with either advanced jumpdrives or the generator. Individually, I can order them to advanced jump but when I ask them to jump as a wing command they default to a normal jumpdrive.

The two problems with that are:

1) The game does not recognize the installation of the generator and will default to checking for ecells.
1) I don't generally have ecells on all those ships.

Any way to either adjust the script to add a command to the wingcommands for an advanced jump or add it to your wing hotkeys script (Another favorite)?

I have half of the wrong names problem.

Advanced jumprive , and the generator appear, but the two others are still with ZA_stuffweirdname.

And all hotkeys are in read text form.

I tried with various install, different plug in manager (the last beta and the stable, with complete clean install for each), and all versions of EMP, and even without EMP for the case of emp included in PM . Still goes on

Is there anyhow a possibility to pass by the EMP stuff ? It f... up any mod that require it.

what language is your game running in ?

no idea why you would have half the text, unless theres a problem with the text file itself.

as for EMP, theres no way around it, EMP is for adding wares to the game for scripters to use.

if the problems keep happening, i might switch to using custom wares instead

Well it's a french install, but i installed also english version, so i tried with both and same issue. And all other english mods work perfectly.

I guess it is the text file, but not from the version i'm playing.
It is not really half the text, i can only see the two first wares (the generator and the advanced jumpdrive). But all other texts, that mean two other wares, and any hotkey added, are in their ZAsomething for wares, and readtext for hotkeys.

Anyway thanks for your quick reply :)

And about custom wares, it should be a possibility to make an alternate mod, just like advanced hyperdrive (this one works, but i prefer the way your mod works indeed, if only there was no text issue :) ).

I've noticed a weird bug with the advanced jumpdrive... that I use to my advantage.

If you comm someone while its sloooooowly powering up, it'll jump you right away.

of course, u can just install the accelerator and it'll just you instantaly anyways ;)

Don't have the credits for that. Are they supposed to be like 20-90 million credits? I forget the exact amount, but its alot more than the advanced jumpdrive itself.

im still having trouble with it..
i keep seeing "EMP_CUSTOMS_ somthing somthing somthing" not the name of it, in every equipment docks (i dont have it, it cost alot for me).. i wrote it down but im not at home atm.

as i said, with the latest plugin manager, you no longer need EMP, so you need to remove it, and make sure its scripts are also removed, as thats whats causing your problems

Dont know why this is happening, but the advanced jumpdrive etc, when docking at a argon equipment dock, it says that there are 10000 of it availble.....

guess it doesnt matter that much, but since its 10000 available that number interconnects with the prize, making it impossible to read the actual prize unless you click on it....

Had some earlier problems with the names, the ZA_EMP issue, but that was because i had both EMP and lite installed. Removing the EMP and script files etc didnt solve the problem. Had to uninstall the adv. jumpdrive script, emp and ware manager and reinstall them before the names showed up properly....except there are now 10000 of each in stock.

Having some problems now with this script, dont know if cycrow is still around...?

Did a complete reinstall of X3TC (deleted all X3TC folders) and made a backup of the savegame folder. I did not uninstall the plugin manager, but removed all scripts from it.

-Reinstalled X3TC
-Added ware manager, hotkey manager, community plugin configuration
-Added MARS
-Copied back the save game

Problem : In argon equipment docks, the goods all show up as blank, no name. There are 10000 in stock and they cost 28 credits. Even the mass driver ammunition, which is the only default goods in the station show up as blank.

I am using X-universe plugin manager Lite V1.10.

I am at a complete loss here and was hoping for some help.
