I got that on my last 2 or 3 posts...then found out the posts actually went through and had to go and delete the double posts.

The DevChat was also acting up around the same time.

Edit: And now it's popping back up again....

Maybe it's a click counter from one of the spam bots thats been around causeing or being cornered , and now not being able to hide as well.

It may very well be, if it only happens in posts which are being followed.

EDIT: Confirmed. It's the e-mail notification system. I guess the SMTP server it uses to send the e-mails is down for some reason.

I don't think it's as simple as that. I am not following any threads, haven't sent any PMs, and haven't received any recently. I still get the error occasionally.... Never saw it before today.

The error occurs for all posters as soon as one person is following the thread, since every post is (or should be) mailed.
