I've just noticed that there are small 'thumbs' next to the topics on the topic screen... What are they for?

I've also noticed little stars in the topic thread... what are they?

One thumb is "Aknowledged" and two is "Worth a look". The more there are the more important/popular they are

The one under some peoples name are rateings. I think if you get over 100 posts you get the star. the more posts you have the higher the rateing

Wrong. It's based upon other ppl's ratings of YOUR posts only. Number of posts doesn't matter. It's upto other forum users to rate you.

Thumbs down = bad; thumbs up = good; thumb sideways = not bad or good (e.g. nobody has yet rated that person or post).

That is just f*cking stupid...you are promoting spammers by giving avatars like this......most people rate others who they like and know but don't rate unknowns or people who seldom post.... I myself made a post asking why I get error pages when I try to rate stuff and it had @Mods in the title but NO mod answered it WHY FOR F*CK SAKE...Jesus you have me pissed off in a big way now. You lead us to believe there would be NO avatars but there seem to be a sideways thumb and a red star f*cking stupid.
