7.60 Which fighter is best for fleet
I wonder what fighter is best for fleet carrier now in 7.60. Is there any comparison tables?

Still depends on what you want them to do. There's plenty of use cases that are fulfilled by different fighters. Do you want cheap ones you can mass produce in the hundreds to just swarm the enemy and just replace the inevitable losses? Or do you want more durable ships that are better at keeping their pilots alive (if you want to level up pilot skills to maybe transfer them to do other jobs later once they've levelled up a bit)?
Also depends on your loadouts, like if you have specific weapon selections for different jobs (bombers, interceptors) or want a more generalist "useful in all cases".
This is one of those question where you can ask two people and get four different answers. You'll have to be a bit more specific, like for example how you current/previous fleets are set up, what you typically use them for (defensive posturing or actively using them to aggress onto other factions' stations and fleets for example) and what your savegame's production capabilities are so people can recommend something better tailored to your wants/needs.
Obviously you'd also need to mention if you have all the DLCs because not having access to some ships would logically narrow down your options.

If you're not filthy rich or having self sufficient shipyard that can print ships - the best fleet fighters would be the standard medium fighters (2 guns ones), like Nova, Takoba, Mamba, Perseus, Mako and Nodan - just stay away from Falcon as it's so sluggish it's dying much faster than the rest.MODifikaTOR wrote: ↑Fri, 11. For 3 gun fighters - you should stay away from them apart from Asp (great all rounder and additional firepower) and Barracuda (more durable, like Heavy fighter than other 3 gun fighters).
You should generally stay away from heavy fighters as AI is very bad with them (tend to die as fast a the above mentioned lighter ones).
There are only two good ones - Chimera (durability and firepower of Heavy Fighters, but agility/survivability of lighter ones) and Shih (cheaper, but worse Chimera).
People endorse Moreya as well, but it's a bit harder to get than the rest, if you don't have access to Yaki.

But atm i do not find a (carrier) role for S-ships. With the new flightmode (V7.5) S fighter do some wired stuff. Dont get me wrong, i was a carrier fan, and did a lot of YT videos. I pray that with the new beta, S fighters will shine again (i had no time to test it). S/M ships are better in the interceptor role atm, forget attack L/XL Xenons (in high attention) until fix.

121 x Shih (pulse lasers) and 31 x Kuraokami (plasma cannons) on a Raptor is pretty effective if you have the resources... maybe an occasional Shih loss soon after construction but once pilots have skilled up a little they never seem to die while other things die very quickly.

Only Terran fighters are a viable choice, because they are the only ones, that can equip Proton Barrage.
