[#2972] Stuck on Zyarth's Coffin - No dock to land Boa on

On the mission Zyarth's Coffin, I fly the Boa to the station indicated by guidance, but the station is still under construction and has no S/M ship dock. There is also no builder present and of course the station is hostile towards me so I can't send wares to help with station building.

I've tried Googling, checked the Egosoft forums, Steam discussions, as well as Reddit but have only found one post on Steam of someone who has had the same issue. Apparently they loaded an earlier save and ended up being sent to a different station, but when I tried to load earlier saves I kept being sent to the same station with the same issue.

Is there any way around this issue?

sorry to bump this old post, I've the same issue: the message in the mission's description says: "dock at" withount any name or coordinates. I guess the station has been destroyed by Xenon or Argon...

could you help me?

Yes, a vanilla save is without mods.

Disabling mods does not make a save into vanilla as the third party mods and their effects are already embedded in the save. You could try disabling mods and seeing if the issue then persists in your game, but your support options if that doesn't help are rather limited.

Made a try right now, all mods disabled but the "error" still the same... If a savegame file could help let me know I'll share here.

Found a solution: destroyed the ship by xenon. When summoned a new ship the quest gave to me the right indications to dock at the split station. Mission concluded.

yes I probably do, I've got a savegame dated on 3rd March, where the bug was still present as I'd solve it one week later if the timeline is correct .

Instructions for doing that are in the sticky at the top of this forum. But it still needs to be a vanilla save.

The savegame is modded so can not be used.

I know this is an old post, but i recently got this exact same issue on a vanilla save (version 7.10), and this is still the top result on google.

My guess is that the quest doesn't check whether the dock is fully built, and thinks that it's fine even if the maintenance bay is still under construction.
Probably only happens if you're really unlucky and the xenon kills the builder right before it finishes, but that's just my guess.

Thanks. There were several missions where it seemed that they failed to check that the designated station had a working dock of the needed size. The devs have been working their way through such cases when they are reported with replication evidence, and so your save may indeed help.

A usual workaround in the meantime is often to wait and do something else for a while, or to help the station to rebuild if you can.

Yeah, i eventually solved it by delivering the required materials and protecting the station until it finished construction.
