[Question] Auto Center Mouse

Does anybody know, if you can control the mouse location in the game using a script? I'm using mouse/keyboard combination and it is really annoying that, every time I leave a menu/screen back into the cockpit view, my ship starts spinning, because I forgot to center the mouse before doing so or forgot to turn off mouse steering. So a simple script centering your mouse, or even turn off mouse steering automatically as soon as you enter anything else but cockpit view, could do the trick.

iirc it already recenters when you are using a controller, or maybe just a gamepad, I saw something about it in the map menu code.

Thanks for the hint, but up until now I only found, how to determine whether the player is using mouse steering at the moment or not.
Will keep looking.
