Hey guys and gals,

How and when do you use the spacesuit EMP and the bomb launcher?

From what I hear, firing off an EMP by a station module opens up a bunch of data leaks, thus increasing your chances of finding a blueprint for that module.

Emp will drop a ships shields. Bombs damage hull. Haven't tried setting them off when back in the ship. Useful for boarding.
You don't talks about X:Rebirth...

Opening lockboxes without destroying the box.
Works fine, even with multiple locks.

I shot every lockbox to crap till I started going EVA and using the hand laser, have not lost a box since then

Weil ich RL nicht beim einkaufen auf Falschparker schießen kann :D

Now this may be a very stupid question, but here I go:

-I have the Repair laser which when I press 1 on my keyboard changes right? Yes ok
-I have also a Laser Weapon which when I hit 2 it changes to that weapon.

-Now comes the stupid question.... I have crafted the EMP, but how the hell do I enable in and set it up onto my space-BJs?

Based on the description it may also works for the 'hack station turrets' type of missions. I've not tried it myself thought.

Re spacesuits... how long does the air last? I was doing a data vault and struggling to unlock it when I died for no obvious reason

I think it`s about 10 minutes. I will have to time it. Kinda dumb that there`s no oxygen meter.
1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).

Select the bomb thrower, then switch munitions. ( K with me, but I changed some key settings, not remembering the original setting atm )

There is an oxygen meter on the spacesuit… it’s that blueish line that would be the “hull/shield” readout when you’re in a ship. Also using your booster will deplete your oxygen supply. Anyway on to my actual question if anyone knows… what is the difference between the blaster and the rifle as far as range and damage when in the spacesuit ???
