Cheat menu mod did not work for me, at least, the part i used it for:

"Installed it and revealed whole map - the only thing i wanted it to do. But, when opening sector map (, button) i cant click on Galaxy, cant go level up. Nothing happens when i click the button. I uninstalled the mod but now the save with everything revealed wont load due to missing mod. Yes, i made new save just in case so nothing is lost "

If you do not know how to use a computer, it's your problem.

There is a theme in which you need to ask before approving anything.

Mod works without problems. Like other more than 2,000 signatories.

Before using, learn to read the description. !!!

Again with the insults... i do not know whats wrong but today i attract people with bad moods On multiple forums.

So, tell me, whats in that description that i did not read? Theres not much to read anyway, some mods that its not compatible... other than that, there was only one instruction to fallow... opening cheat menu. Which i did! And i choosed reveal map option or something like that. After that. I couldnt go to up one level at map. Dont remember what its called, one level up from the (,) button. Also, i had both DLC's and no stations were built by me.

Well, i provided you all of the info as a mod user that i can possibly know about the problem. I explained what exactly did not work FOR me even though i followed instructions exactly.

Ill try again. Step by step.

1. I installed the mod, did not have any mods installed that your mod is not compatible with and also i have all DLC.
2. I opened cheat menu with my side menu
3. i clicked, i believe, galaxy button
4. i clicked reveal map button
5. the menu closed without any message
6. i opened sector map to see if it worked (with comma button), all undiscovered zones were discovered
7. i clicked system button on map to see all sectors, it worked, all sector of a system were discovered
8. i tried to click galaxy button to see if it worked for whole galaxy but when i clicked the button, nothing happened, not even animation of button clicking. It looked like frozen.
9. Saved the game, exited to desktop and loaded the game up again and opened save but the problem remained.
10. i uninstalled the mod

So, instead of accusing that i do not know how to use a computer or cant read the description of a mod (something i always do throughly) you could maybe take this into consideration for future. Maybe someone else experienced it but did not bother to let you know or were shot down by you from the beginning, like i was.

This is the last thing i say about this problem i had with your mod. Take it or leave it.

alexalsp, I've read the description on Steam and I can't see anything specific about problems with buttons. It does say "you can use this mod as is", which implies there may be issues that we shouldn't worry about but that doesn't mean CommanderTM is wrong to share information about things on this website as well as Steam.

Perhaps something has been lost in translation because when CommanderTM said "But, when opening sector map (, button) i cant click on Galaxy, cant go level up. Nothing happens when i click the button.", I understood that to mean the UI button on the map for changing to System or Galaxy (shortcut 2?) doesn't work. I think that is pretty clear.

So whilst I can understand you could feel frustrated if you thought you were being given a bad bug report, I don't think you were and I can also understand why CommanderTM could then find your initial reply rude.

I think this is not the place to discuss mod issues. The respective mod's thread is.

Agreed in general but in this case, I don't think there's a thread on this forum so it wasn't so easy to pick an initial location. That said, I also agree that the parent thread wasn't the best place for the subsequent discussion, thanks.

Yeah, i chose the thread because there was no specific one for the mod and the thread that lists working mods sounded like the right place to mention the problem i have with a mod that is listed as working. Im no modder so i do not know if it was 4.0 specific or mods general problem but thanks for making new thread. In hindsight this might have been better option
