A 3d space scene

just a small space scene i worked on. Its a class M planet with decent atmosphere. I might add to this at some point, sorry for it being so short!

Everything is made by me, including textures and modelling.

With the 'shakycam' and music, I almost expected a BSG-type space battle.

Nice scene btw. What software did you use?
I used 3Ds max & After effects :) Almost everything is done in 3DS max (which is rare, doing planets in after effects easier but more restricting - mastering making the atmosphere in 3D took some experimenting though) This means its a completely interactive 3D environment... However the lens flare was made in after effects!

I think BSG handheld style was very effective. Bloody loved that series. :) I might do a space battle at some point, but UVW mapping models is SO boring. I really don't have the heart for it!

Good to see another video on here. Tonight I will be making another one . I just cant wait for rebirth to come out cause it just looks so pretty
