Battlestar Galactica Full Conversion?
Where can I find the download link because it seems like every thread in the Mods section has a link to another thread that has another link to another thread that links to another website and bull shit. Can someone that knows where the download link is please post it here and it doesnt matter what game it is for; Reunion or Terran Conflict.

The original mod was a partial conversion.
Argon changed to Colonial. Xenon changed to Cylon. The Gui was changed as well, so the whole look and feel got changed. But very little else.
It would be possible to run the original mod as false patch, and the new ships mod as a mod, and get the best from both.
But since the ships are still not working properly in the current version, there is little point until the next ships version comes out.
Edit : As far as I know, there has never been a BSG total conversion, and as far as TC is concerned, there has never been a fully working Battlestar available.
While the Battelstars worked in X3R, they dont in TC when just ported. Some critical ship features were changed in TC and the BSG main ships violate the new rules.
Killerog is our last hope of getting them fixed.

Since I introduced the Battlestars into one of my games, it's given me a chance to knock the Pirates / Xenon / Kh'aak into the sidelines.
I have 34 Battlestars, with Viper VII, Viper II, Raptor ships.
They do really well, and still manage to hold their own.
I'm not after invicible ships, and I don't fully arm them, and most are Valkyries, as they are the smallest, and most interesting types.
I'm not after converting my game, just add on ships to work with the rest.
Thanks very much for getting it at least compatible with X3 TC !

I had the german one mostly translated at one time, but due to a system wipe i lost all the work i had done.
It was more of a slower pace game play from what i remember. Shields were made into armor, then you had your hull after that.
Theres some great concepts in it.

I just came back after a 4 month or so break from X. But seeing xtc released, it will be awhile before i go back and start translating again. And by that i means useing systrans, friens and alot of whiskey to translate again, heh.

We're are still working on the BSG full conversion ( RDM ). Slowly, but still working.
We planned so far a series of 3 mods, they belong together. Beginning with the First Cylon War, we are working atm.
some colonies and other space:

- no shields ( all ship armor now )
- no laser weapons
- only munition based weapons
- only weapons like from series ( what we know etc )
- new balancing of ships/weapons
- cylon cap ships using missiles instead projectile weapons ( like series )
- 2 races ( humans and cylons )
- cylon invasion
- new map ( 12 colonies and more )
- BSG based economy ( tylium / munition / shipyards / etc )
- BSG scripts ( combat/trading/mobile producing on Battlestars/civil ships/ship repair on battlestars ( vipers/raptors ) / etc )
- specialized ships ( like tylium tanker, mobile ship repair like
- no gates, only FTL points
- BSG stations and docks
- BSG HUD + dradis
- and a lot more I could write
we still have a lot of ideas what we want to have. and with the new weapon and combat scripts ( especially for cylon basestars ) we have to redo the whole balancing for all ships and weapons. beside our real lifes....
so, a lot of work, a lot is done yet and the crew have still ideas. I can't, and won't, write a date for a demo release or something. we'll releasing when we done.

a small update for you.
Again, sorry for my very bad english
Like I said, we have a lot of work, but the mod still in progress.
So, in 1 month we did a lot. Not at all 100 percent done, but ingame yet....
Here are some changes....
Interface ( by me/DeiNaGoN )
Beside new gamestarts for BSG we changing the main menu style into a colonial/cylon style.

early progress and still not finished. cockpit menus and radar also in BSG style, DRADIS and the DRADIS Icons also.
Background we have a small capture movie from First Cylon War from Razor Flashbacks ( by DeiNaGoN )
Ships ( by Atlan/Nemesis )
New ships ingame and in progress. Only the Custodian is not finished atm.

We have an own Colonial economy. As trader you have the choice to use stations or, if the war against the cylons forces you, produce and trade with your mobile factories. No stations are necessary. Also your Battlestar is able to produce munition, vipers, and so on. If you have the right ressources.
With your Bigships you are able to dock on every station. We give stations dockingpoints for TL's, etc. So you are able to transfer a high amount of wares in one time.
What dramatically changed is the combat. If you have a closer look to the screens with the effects, you will reckognize that the cylon basestars are acting like Missile ships! Like the basestars in the series BSG RDM !
duglim finished his turret script, now the cylon capships fire with missiles on you. You'll need new tactics to fight against a basestar, or two, or three
Be sure, they'll firing a lot of missiles on your Battlestar.
So, this ist just the beginning. We are still working and we think a demo for Cylon War is not so far away.
We still need people for help. Especially who have experience with ship textures.

To this question we've got always the same answer: No.
It's just a extra bunch of work for us and we have more than enough things to do.
Second major problem is that our ships are just too big for X. The weaponery there hasn't got the needed fire range and the gates are too small... etc
Our credo is full conversion. Not less.
Btw: If you want to help, translators or correctors for our translation are welcome.
