[1.2] Collect Ware… BUG?

BUG - When the order is given to a remote ship, the command completes without actually collecting the ware selected.

1.2EN Steam Version
No mods/scripts
Remote ship: Demeter Tanker (TS), purchased used from NPC
Upgrades: Triplex & Duplex scanner, Trade Command 1 & 2, Fight Command 1, trading system extension, mineral scanner, special command software, navigation command software.

Test 1:
Ship is out-of-sector, given command to collect 1 ware
Ship doesn't move, give 'command complete' message after 30 seconds
Ware not collected

Test 2:
Ship is in-sector, given command to collect 1 ware
Ship doesn't move, give 'command complete' message after 30 seconds
Ware not collected

Test 3:
Ship is out-of-sector, first told to 'Move to position…' of ware, then given 'collect ware…' command
Ship sits for about 10-15 seconds, then the ware disappears from map and appears in ship cargo. 'Command complete' message given.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I had a similar experience in omi lyre, there were 166 crystals floating free so told my Mercury which was docked at the Ship yard to collect ware crystals
But it would fly towards them then stop after a while and just sit there, Had to order it to collect wares more than 10 times as it limped across the sector slowly.

I had a similar thing in Nyana's Hideout. I told a Rapier to go pick up some dropped missiles, and it flew to around 20km away, stopped dead in its tracks and said "command complete". When I tried again, it didn't even move, and just returned "command complete". The third try did the trick though - it flew straight to the crate and picked it up. I was OOS at the time.
