MOD creators !!! I beg YOU !!! Please, o PLEEEEASE make that ships can trade there NEW goods like Agron & Boron manuscripts drugs Split artefacts, Paranid cult religious things and Teladi drugs and so on! It could be very fine i think...

  And... PLEASE ! IF IT ONLY POSSIBLE - Make Equipment Dock's looks different in any races like You made it with Ship-Yards !!!

And... question about "Argon Orbital Weapons Platform XL " - dear developers, are You sure that it confirm their HUGE price (even more 20000000 cr!!!). AOWP even can't defence one sector because it can't shoot more than 5km... :( I sure, that AOWP should be cost 3000000 at maximum ! And why prices on Argon Shipyards so low - even 600000 cr... It's too low I think... Is it bug ?
Thank you a LOT :!:

Just so you know, that is physically impossible the way you're describing it. There is NO way that a ship can land on an x3 planet. The only thing close to this is creating a ship or station that looks like a planet. The XFP team and Ovserve have done this in their mod if that's what you're looking for.

As for myself, I haven't found the planet yet :x Has anyone progressed futher than me in the plot? If so can you tell me what to do next? Look a few posts back<<<<<

A good patch, I am glad to see a few decent fixes, even seems to have resolved the slight stutter my game had. Though I still think their are a bit too many military/custom's ships and pirates.

Oh, so don't have further complains to X-team modders. This thread is NOT a official.
Secondly, there are many people who write their experiences, exciements etc, so X-team Modders don't have a time (and also will) to read EVERY post in this topic.
They have their own problems, own forum, and they spend more time to watch them, than to play with kids, that are unable to understand basic things.

My intention is not to offence anyone. Just to make people understand the X-team modders effort and sacrifice.

Peace

Thanks Mani_Hc. What you say is very true, it is very hard to monitor this thread constantly for new bugs, and repeated bug reports, hence my comments that it's better to place the bugs in our dedicated bug forum.

This is a FREE mod... they're not being paid! I'm pretty sure you can do your bit and visit their forum, sign up and post in their bug forum. I managed to...

Getting back to the null sector issue - you will find that a quick visit to the XUniverse forum reveals that some people got their depot spawned in a particular sector - whereas others always get null. Reloading doesn't seem to help. I'm pretty sure they're looking into it... I looked at the scripts myself, but as I don't really understand them I can't help!!

EDIT: THERE IS A SORT OF CURE THAT HAS JUST BEEN POSTED ON THE XUNIVERSE FORUM - IF YOU SET THE ARTIFICIAL LIFE SETTING - SET SHIPYARDS TO DEFAULT LOCATIONS TO YES... THEN RESCAN AT THE SY IN BHS... THE MISSION CONTINUES.

Thanks mate :) I'll test that out.

EDIT:
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I forgot, I don't have a savegame from before I did the mission  I overwrote it :headbang:

Any other ideas?

Fun stuff with XTM

Post by Zayoungb1 »

Well lets start off saying i've been playing X3 for a little over 2 months now. Two weeks ago i downloaded XTM and restarted for the 4th time (I tend to restart alot untill i like where i am at in my current game.) and things are going pretty good. I started off with a quick run to Elayna's Forturne got a lucky cap on a falcon and started from there. After doing the first mission of the plot on normal I decided to head back to EF to grab another cap if i could and up my argon rep enough to get my police license for the second mission.

Things were looking up at this point because about 5 mins into patrolling EF I caught a Pirate falcon and buster combo. Imagine my suprise when i cap both of them. :D While taking them to the scrap yard to sell to get my Mecury Hauler a jump drive and Trade MK 3 I notice a lot of Cargo Crates poping up. Confused because of the lack of hostiles on the sector map i look through the ship list. I notice that there is a Terran Expeditionary fleet camped at one of the cahoona facts. About that time the cahoona fact goes boom and lots more loots pops up.

Now im not one to look a gift horse in the mouth so after selling off the two caps i order my Hauler to terracorp to get a jump drive and start flying toward the terrans to see if they like me or not. I save before getting too close then tag the closest terran ship and set it to follow. After about 2 mins of no one shooting me i figure im safe. About that time my Hauler gets his jump drive and some energy cells and i jump him in to start collecting the loots.

After about 30 mins i made about a mill and a half and didn't have to do almost anything. Terran invasion much better that Khaak.

I love XTM the guys making it are great.

Interesting, I've not seen a single Terran as yet, capping for me is also proving fruitless, although the Xenon seem to be a bit bailhappy managed to nab several Ns Ms and Ls from patrols.

Falcons tend to be the easyist to cap IMO. They are fairly slow and have a blind spot the size of a mammoth get right behind them and take down the shields after that just keep pecking at them untill they bail or die. Easy 500,000 creds. I am also playing the plot with XTM so the Terrans are enabled but you cant go to their planets yet. That might be why they were hostel to everyone but me. :D

I'll have to keep an eye out then as I too am playing the plot. Yeah Falcons were always pretty easy to get a bead on, the one's with PSGs and IonDs give me headaches though.

Did you enable Terrans in the AL settings?

Removing the Xtended Mod anyone????

Post by Ju-biz »

I recently installed the Xtended mod. To make a long story short, I didn't like it. Does anyone have any knowledge on how to remove it?? I would greatly appriciate it.

There is an XTM Thread in this forum already.

To unistall the XTM you have to set the option Xtended Mod in the AI Menu to "No" and then you have to follow the instructions wich will be sent to you.
(I hope this is correct. Please correct if i am wrong :) )

Might anyone direct me on how to proceed with the Sohnen story line? I've done the first mission, and I've been waiting for them to 'contact' me... but I have received no such contact.

Xtended Mod?

Post by SiLeNt_SpAdE »

I was looking into getting the Xtended mod, and have heard many things about it and it seems cool. I stillwas wondering if I could use the ShipCreator mod to use custom ships while playing the Xtended mod though?

Peace
Your post was indeed intended to offend hence you adding the unnecessary "than to play with kids, that are unable to understand basic things." (Which I assume you imply me.) so please do not try to disguise your attack with a false apology.

Now if you go through the trouble to quote me, at least take the time to understand what I said. My post was not a complaint to the team, the only thing that was directed to the team was a compliment in regards to the great work on the recent patch and a suggestion on improvement.

I agree, no one expects the team to read every post that is made, but do not expect fans to do the same or even read/post on their forums.

You can download the latest mod and patch files from here.

When you open the rar file there is a folder inside it. In this folder there are 2 files (10.dat and 10.cat) and one soundtrack folder. Open your x3 reunion folder (Default location: C:\Program Files\DeepSilver\X3 Reunion\) and look at the cat/dat files listed there. If you are not running any other mods as false patches, the highest number cat/dat set should be 09. If that is so, just copy the cat/dat set from the rar file into your x3 reunion folder.

If you have cat/dat sets that are higher than 09 then you have something added as a false patch (Another mod most likely). You have 2 options. You can remove the other mod (Recommended as other mods are not likely to be compatible) and then install the cat/dat set as above, or you can extract the cat/dat set in the rar file to a temp folder on your desktop and rename them so that they are 1 number higher than the last cat/dat set in your x3 reunion folder (In other words if your last cat/dat set in the x3 folder is 14, rename the files to 15) and then move them to your x3 reunion folder.

Copy the soundtrack folder to your x3 reunion folder.

Install the XTM patch + scripts 7.2 with Cycrow's installer.

Hope that helps.

Bug report:

Currently in my universe there is a Pirate Shipyard in Split Fire, and two more in Brennan's Triumph. Perhaps more still. On a previous occasion there were 2 in Split Fire.

Cheers.
