M1+, no fighter catapult or hanger, but with max capacity of 36xM6 park outside, or 4xM7..
Been looking at this for sometime, i have a suggestion......again its just an idea/suggestion, so please keep the original !

Look at moving the bridge back about 30% of the hull, creating a flat space in between the bridge and the nose of the ship ( similar to what you have done with the Heavy Titan and the standard Vanilla Colossus) it should look better than having the bridge touch the nose of the ship...have the back slop of the new bridge merge with back spine of the ship (behind the 1st round tube lying on its side, i hope you see what i am getting at) and remove the 1st tube so its all one nice long shape (just keep the tube above the engine's), and try and remove one one of the red stripes down the side...this should create a more simple powerful shape....the bridge moving a lot more backwards should give it more balance.


edit...in fact take the bridge that far back the start of it would only just start where the 1st tube would be....so the bridge is dead centre of the length of the ship!

edit 2...try and make those two side engines come out a little more to give more shape so it not so tubular.

That's it i will shut up now...and like a i said its just a suggestion!

Update for M1+
major rework on the main ship body, i will work on the side later
i love the new bridge section, planning to give this version of main body to M2+ as well, but a little bit shorter

To my untrained commoner eye thing looks just fine. Really mighty, and ready to game implementation. I wander how it will be implemented in XRM mechanics. I would personally made it maybe unique and unbuyable, guarding key race sectors.

i am feeling at the back of the ship is a little bit light, but not sure what to put.

feedback/suggestions are always welcome
The M1+ looks good, looks a little light at the back....


But i don't like the new look M2+, I thought you had nailed it on the 2nd version that just looked so cool, your best design you had done yet, this newer version looks awkward....I think you doing the classic overdesign now, could just go back to the lighter version of your original design?

tbh i like it, and if u like it bud then thats fine seeing its ur work (you might really like it urself and want to fly it as it is :P)

To be fair I was overcritical, just supprised by the new look,it's a good design....but I do still prefer the earlier version at it's better balanced!

In regards to your question it is a little light at the back, maybe just bulk it up a veticaly at the engine a llittle or add one of those long tubes you get on the back off the colossus, that should balance it better

But good stuff...

When does the XRM community get to see you excellent ship design's in action, or are you doing more work on the models?

HI! :D

Ok.. I need help :cry: . Im the worlds worst Gmax utiliser and I haven't got a clue of how to use it. Not one bit. and I screw up around every corner. Unless I get some sort of interactive walk-through I will never be able to use gmax and be able to put in new ships..

But here's what I want to create and put in. - Im wondering if anyone could create it for me (without the landing support as seen in no.4): :D

Here are the pictures:

Without the red spot at the bottom and more like Pic. No. 4.
Then I need to make it a REALLY REALLY fast ship.. say 10,000 m/s...and I would need some sort of brake to stop it instantly.. 8)
- Overpower it with a lazer maybe an overpowered a kion emitter (without the buzzing)(maybe a light blue light or a whitish yellow?)
- About or slightly bigger than the Terran Yokohama..- I dont know if it exists but a succesful cloaking device- Medium to Large Cargo space- Super strong shielding.. maybe like one of the M1s or M2s.
- Massive power output.- About 3/4 turret bays for firing if possibe 360 degrees...
- Docking ability to all stations..- The ability to install all the equipment...- Some interesting Torpedos or misiles.. (but not necessary)..
- Massive Hull Pts. 8)

Whos up for the challenge? or Who wants to guide me through this sticky process? :roll:

i think its best to stick to ships which fit in with X3 :P

Actually its owned by the "unknown" race. It just has a Goner pilot coz Egosoft never added any unknown race pilots to the game and Goner is the default one.

Paranid heavy M2 concept/idea
god, their style makes making new ship almost impossible..

anyway, first tackle on this wierd race..
according to their line of design, M2=flying dish, M1=Flying dish with a handle, TL=a thicker flying dish with a handle
soooooo, M2+, slightly thicker flying dish with huge armor plates enforced comes with a handle.
