ATF ships are relatively easy, because it's terran..and ffs we are terran..mr.WHO wrote:Now I seriously consider reinstalling XRM after next release with your stuff.
You ATF M3B is badass.
i will probably do Argon m3B next, but i have no clue how i can make Boron M1+ yet..not sure how to make it fit, their ship looks really beautiful already..i honestly don't know how to do any improvement on them..

You're right about boron, they are difficult to modify, that's why there are very few successful boron redesigns. They are inspired with aquatic animal style but if you overdo it then it's not good again. For example I don't like the looks of hydra sentinel, it's fair design but for my taste aesthetically unpleasing. It looks like turtle, while common vanilla hydra is much better - it succeeded in keeping fine distinction /synergy of mechanical and biological.expnobody wrote: but i have no clue how i can make Boron M1+ yet..not sure how to make it fit, their ship looks really beautiful already..i honestly don't know how to do any improvement on them..
You should probably look to other boron ships for inspiration, for example heavy hydra has some very complex surfaces, and still looks great.

I'd hold on Argon M3B as Cadius has that one WIPexpnobody wrote: ATF ships are relatively easy, because it's terran..and ffs we are terran..

so there is no need to have two ships for same class and same race if you could make two ships for diffrent races, like Teladi, Paranid, Split or Boron.
Also I remember that Cadius was working on some Boron ships so I wouldn't haste on those too.
I'm amazed for those Argon models looks far more badass ingame comparing to modeling renders.Meet the Argon M1+ Daedalus

please do note using 3dsmax default render is the best thing i can take screenshot of..ATI HD4200 is not a good graphic card...it will make the model look even worse if i take a screenshot ingame..mr.WHO wrote:I'd hold on Argon M3B as Cadius has that one WIPexpnobody wrote: ATF ships are relatively easy, because it's terran..and ffs we are terran..

A good design is a good design....most people could see they were going to look great, even before the in game shots!
As for holding off the Argon M3B, well maybe until you have done the other races 1st, Cadius might never return, so you will just need to do the whole set, as the bombers are the next thing that are needed on the XRM to do list.....and judging by that ATF bomber they will be to your normal high standard
Ps the USC already has a original M3B, so that one you will not need to do!

Whats up with Skate, I thonk you mean the Boron Pike (M4+). I've been asking you about the Pike since long time, but I hope our talented modeller expnobody will come up with something nicepaulwheeler wrote:Maybe ill write a list of everything we're missing...
Off the top of my head:
Boron Skate m4p
All the m3 bombers need models
I'd really like a Griffon replacement actually. The vanilla is a bit small for an m7 and perhaps an internal dock would be better.
Boron m1+
Boron m7 carrier (the current one uses the m7m model)
Boron Marlin m8 (current one isn't great)
Otas Auster m8
Boreas replacement (although I'm not that upset by the vanilla one)
I don't think we should have an entire Otas fleet, so no need for an otas m2+.
If you ever fancy doing station models... All the races (except teladi, Terran and argon) could use their own EDs.

All the m3 bombers need models? All -1, The Argon M3B has separate model already (the hot dog)
Elite Dangerous| I survived the Dragon Incident ... then I took an arrow to the knee
We want the Boron back!

I have wondered the same thing SorkvildSorkvild wrote:Argon One looks really good. What's the description behing M1+ ? A supercarrier? More guns, more shields ? I think it may blur the line between the M1 and M2, what do you think?
Will he balance the Daedalus class as a ''standard'' heavy battle-carrier or is the Daedalus Class just supposed to a class of just 1 ... Argon One.... balanced in same way as the Valhalla, just a little less powerful than the Earth Flagship.
As for the Argon M3B......mmmmm yes its got its own model, but really? hot dog? more like hot dog sh*t!.....its truly awfull, expnobody will do a much more cool version.
