I don't know if those feature are absolutely necessary. But the TC/AP Improvement script has them, just in case.

Escpecially the cargo manager was implemented, because of the new rest ware selling abilities.
Without it, MK3 traders will sell absolutely EVERYTHING on board, except the needed amounts of fight drones and ecells.
And I have read that some people actually like to have their MK3 traders carry some stuff with them, like adv sats, for example.
So I coded the cargo bay manager to lock certain wares on board. But for normal use, it's not necessary.

The mosqito feature was born by the idea, that the MK3 traders could maybe make use of the mosqito missile defence script. Therefore they would need a certain amount of mosqitos on board.

So, both features are only add-ons and won't be available in the reunion version.

And removing them is no problem. Already done. Just commenting out a few lines of code and deleting some scripts.

So I hope, that I can get this to work tomorrow :)

edit: I have a test version running, but the lockmaster for locking stations seems to be buggy?! Strangely, I didn't touch it, so I wonder why it works in the vanilla version in the first place? Nevertheless, here is a raw version without any blacklisting and/or locking/avoiding of sectors/stations. Internally, it is up to date to the current 1.6.4 version of the TC/AP improvement script. I just removed all features that aren't supported by the engine.

If you like this version more, please let me know. And if someone could explain to me, how the lockmaster script works, I maybe could even get that station locking fixed ...

Ok. So when you say the LockMaster script is buggy, Do you mean the Autotrader Sector Lock script I mentioned ealier? Or your Sector Locking functions?

Just want to know if its working with that script, or if I have to remove it first. :)

with this version, it actually works.

But I realized, that the original sector locking system in general is ... not good.

So I'm currently working at getting the TC/AP version to run. But for that I have to implement some new game functions first. Or at least try as good as with scripts possible.

I would recommend waiting to the next release ...

edit: Done. Version 2.0 is the real release. Please redownload, if you already tried 2.0.0

Ok. I would love to try this out, but I need to get a few things right before I do! lol

1) Do I need to remove the old MK 3 improvement script?
2) Do I need to remove the AutoTrader Sector Blacklist script?
3) should I stop my current Universe Traders, before I install?

Coz they both say V1.7.0. No mention of version 2.0.0?

for X3 Reunion, download Reunion from this thread.

For TC/AP download reloaded from the thread in the TC/AP scripts and modding forum.

self explanatory ... :)


both 1.7.0 because I merged version numbers together. Both scripts represent the same level of development, so they have the same number. Version 2.x was therefore actually 1.6.x. Don't get confused about version numbers. just download from the thread and you'll get the recent, correct files.

-> Thread topic changed to v1.7.0. Forgotten to do that :)

never mind. I already created the packages myself. Thanks anyway! :)

They can now be found inside the .rar!

I'm still eager to get the auto update feature from the X3 Plugin Manager running with this. But I guess I need some own webspace for that, where I can upload the .spk file to?!

I would imagine so.

If you're asking about webspace, I'm afraid I have no idea who you could go with. There are so many different packages out there.
