Merci. And yes, it the mod's fault. Both the cmod3 and my HUD mod use the catalog number 06. If you want to use both mods, install the HUD mod in a diffent folder, rename the cats/dats (08->09, 07->08 and 06->07) and then move them into your TC folder.

Oh no, I'm not saying they're conflicting with each other when I want to use your mod, I'm saying since I couldn't get the reticles to work (Weapon damage shows up though) I decided to use CMOD3's HUD.

Ah, ok. But I still wonder why it doesn't work. It should work. Theoretically. :S

Aaand update! Not exactly what I wanted to get done, but anyway (the todo-list keeps getting longer... :| ). Small update to get rid of the cat-number-problem and implement Pijangs request.

As you can see, nothing new, except the optional borderless version. More important is the improved installer, which automagically chooses the correct cat/dat number. :)

Is there an option to remove the glow around icons and bring back the old health bars?
How can one player flying one ship defeat a big gang of pirates?

Good flying, or reinforcements. Lots of reinforcements.

Hi there, I got a "forbidden" message when trying to download this mod via Google Chrome. Any clue?

Sorry for doing such necro, but this interface is really good.
Would you mind if I'll mix it with Military Hud by ulfius

While this long dead thread is partially reanimated :D

I just want to pass on my thanks to Samuel for this great mod; it was my first mod and it is still, after 2 years of playing modded games, my most essential mod. So much so that I completely forget that the UI is modified. The cluttered style of the original UI drove me mad and onto this mod and I haven't looked back since.

Where ever you are Samuel. Thank you.

Reposted on the X3 Google Code site:

YS-GUI 1.5 (HUD Mod)

Unlike most mods, this is a Windows installer. You can open it in an archival program to see the contents.

The full installer may work for AP, although I have not tried it. However, I do successfully use the transparent-menu part in both TC and AP. Here's how:

I right-click the .exe to open with 7-zip, then extract only b.cat and b.dat, which I then rename to numbered .cat/.dat and install as a fake patch. The b.cat/.dat is the transparency part, which I really love for making it easier to navigate while reading a menu.

Just thought I'd check to see if there was any chance of you re-uploading this mod. I can't seem to find any other cockpit mods worth having, and yours was mentioned in an older Let's Play video of TC.
