I can't seem to purchase ship schematics in station bartering. Even when the ship says the schematics are being downloaded, it doesn't show up at my player HQ and I haven't spent any money. Is there something I am not doing right here?

In XRM, the PHQ is not the only station that can receive ship plans.
Newly purchased plans go to the last 'major' station the player builds.
If you have built an EqD or SY after your PHQ they would have gone there.

As for the "no money" part, I have no idea.

Not sure if it was intentional but in xrm 1.27 and 1.28 otas hq dont sell Mk3 trader software anymore

Missing "Missile barrage command"

I have bought and equipped an M8, stole an M7M, and for the love of me I can't figure out how to issue the Missile barrage command where you're supposed to enter the number of volleys the ship will fire at targets. I understand it's supposed to be under Additional ship commands, but I don't have it there. Just "None", "Mosquito defence" and "Mosquito defence (C)". No difference if I target the ship when issuing commands or sitting in it. I'm running latest Steam AP + bonus pack, latest XRM, moderate hull pack, cockpit skins and high-res backgrounds, that's it.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? Am I missing something?

Yes you missed. From the beginning in XRM there was not a barrage command (I think in vanilla X3AP this command was removed as well). Instead you are using commands "attack", "attack my target" and so on. I think on first page of this threat was something about that:

Got a queston thrugh, i did state erlier that there is no Mk3 trader software in Otas Hq as it was in older xmr versions. When i encouter this, my first though was that i wrongly install XRM, i did few tests with mods and without additional mods (xrm, and cheat script only)on clean install. And otas hq didnt have mk3 trader software on each try. Now in my current game at the start i did check up and Otas Hq didnt have the software, at this moment i just jumped in to buy some mistrals, send them to Otas hq to get a jumpdrive and some additional stuff that was not in eq docks, and i see mk3 trader software.
In my erlier game and tests i didnt do any quests for otas itself, so my question is, is the software that otas hq sells is OTAS rep dependat and shows at certian rep lvls and if it is, is ther more software to unlock on higher ones ?

now that's really unusual.
someone shoud check md code for otas plot. maybe it removes mk3 and gives it later on as reward.

Nope - the mk3 trader is added to otas hq via warestemplate which is initialized at the start of a game. If its there now, its always been there in an ongoing game.

Well then this is kinda wierd, i did write it since in my erlier game Mk3 trader did disappire from the Otas Hq in the mid game.

Btw love sentinetl`s TS they wreck havoc in pirate sectors :)

When I installed this mod it overridded some existing files, is this suppose to happen ? I noticed when I open comms with stations and cap ships that the automatted voice doesn't occour or the robot picture thing x_x helppppp pleaseee

And that also explains why you had trouble with Salvage Claim Software -- you did have an incorrect installation. It sounds as though you fixed it in your new game.

Nope its not fixed, tests was done without scs and at the start of actuall game ther wasnt Mk3 in Otas hq, since i started as OTAS operative did check after start.

No Sounds/Voices from Ship Communication?

Hi folks,

I wanted to try out this mod, and I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly by following the instructions. However once I start a new TC game, I don't hear any ship communication voices (comm another ship or a station). I hear all other sounds just fine. This doesn't happen with the vanilla install.

I'm on a Mac and downloaded the game from the App Store. Has anyone else had this issue and had a resolution?

So I removed the 00044 file and restarted a new game .... Still the same thing happens

No voices usually means the xrm cat/dats are not installed correctly. Please double check that both parts are in the correct folder and are named with two digits. I'm pretty sure people have got the xrm working with the Mac version before.

Is there a reason I cant locate "Hackerchips" in any Tware Files?

How do I add it there if needbe?

I ask because it not listed as a cargo item when i use certain CODEA functions.

EDIT: Found it...but shouldnt it be a "T" Trade item

Hackerchips are a vanilla ware. They were a plot device in X2 IIRC. They've always been in TwareN.
