Barter system yeah, but do you basically just cruise around until you find a barter mission? Or is there some way to ask for it?
They hinted we could get ships, how much does that matter? Afaik they have nothing unique, but perhaps unique paintjobs? Where do I even find these anyway?
Like fine, barter system, annoying but meh. The problem is it seems so opaque. If there is like a trading station with a barter board, that would be way easier.
Incidentally, how much must I do to get to +20 and I assume all the blueprints? Hopefully including the observation deck ones? I got to +10 following the mission to the special ship.
How do you raise QUE rep? Also QUE ships?

Re: How do you raise QUE rep? Also QUE ships?
I haven't seen missions with ship rewards. I stopped when I reached +20 and got the blueprint for the XL habitat.
Getting to +20 required some grinding. I used a fast ship to check all their stations and accepted every mission they offered, even those I would normally ignore. Patrol mission were nice because I could complete other missions in the area or check for new mission offers.
I find long grinding runs quite boring. So I made it a side project and divided it into several shorter sessions. Whenever I had some time to spare I went to their sectors for half an hour or so. Then I went back to my other in-game projects. It also helps that many missions can be done remotely, such as deploying satellites. Some mission, like station build missions, can be automated for the nost part.

You can get normal Missions. Escorting miners is the most productive in terms of reputation, because you can kill a lot of Khaakh close to QUE stations. There are also station building missions or passenger transport.
You get barter missions with ship rewards only AFTER reaching Rep 20.

Place some ships on their stations to teleport and look for "protect mining ship" missions. There you will face Khaak, this will boost your reputation. Another goid one is where you protect stations by destroying laser towers. You will only need a few of them to get +20.

I have been using 20 reputation for a long time, but I still haven't seen this kind of taskRainerPrem wrote: ↑Sun, 15. Dec 24, 06:54 You can get normal Missions. Do missions that reward ships really exist? What type of ship is the reward for?

Unfortunately, the reward ship provided by this mission has no uniqueness, which means that there will be no shortage of this ship in the later stages, and the early tasks themselves cannot be completed.(Only one special coating)

“Dart”?I remember that ship was acquired during the first encounter with the QUE faction, as a plot mission rather than a general random mission. I just completed a task of the latter type, and the reward is only a regular Guardian Nova.
(Actually, the configuration of this reward ship is not bad, but it doesn't have much value for archiving in the later stage... I may come to see if I can boost QUE reputation in the early stage in the next file.)

Re: How do you raise QUE rep? Also QUE ships?
I've completed a barter mission, which fortunately requested just a little under a Rorqual's load of Helium and picked up a Vulture Sentinel.
It has a paint job called Cold Metal/Fury or something, so it seems for the collector that these missions which give ships are worth doing.
Incidentally I noticed that the ship was docked at the station, but I can't remember if I checked before or after accepting the mission, might have been before. So perhaps using adv sats to check docked ships might be a good way to hunt these missions down. It was called QUE Vulture Sentinel, so unlike their normal trade ships which is QUE Distributor Vulture Sentinel.
