Yea, looks great so far. Everything is active again. Khaak cleared the Xenon siege of Matrix 451. Xenon are probing into faction space. ANT launched a raid on HOP. Argon shipyard is starting to have shortages!
Also, ships are being built inside the construction pods (like rebirth). Looks very nice.

shooting for AI ships seems to not be enabled? Just took down a dozen Khaak without them firing a shot.

Stuff seems to be happening now. My mining ships still havent been able to sell anything, but I expect theres a build up that needs to be cleared out first.

Please guys can anyone tell me how to update to this beta patch on steam. I cant find it in the game options

You need to jump onto the beta upgrade branch on steam. if you right click x4 on your games list and click properties, you'll have a "beta" tab. It'll ask for a password which is "IBackedUpMySaves"... as you can imagine, I'd recommend backing up your saves first.

Well, it's a game now. We'll see down the road how balanced and what further finetunings the war and build system will need, but at least we've got an actual game. I can finally go back to it instead of complaining like an old fart all day

Can confirm, more Xenon and Kha'ak. For some reason the Kha'ak ships can't attack, though.

Problem is that the Kha'ak ships are so slow. They get into knife-fighting range and just constantly bounce between 'turn towards' and 'turn away' with barely any time between to actually fire their guns since they cannot open up distance with their targets.

are the shipyards close to invincible as well? or for that we need modders to fix it... like the auto explore (which didn't work at all)...and later pathfinding, collision ssimilar to bounce in X3...

Anyone else noticed that the station count in Antigone Memorial and The Void has dropped?
Nevermind, reload after several reloads from the new game to old and stations appeared
Otherwise this patch is working great so far!
ps; Can we get a scanner mkIII or increase the range please?

In my save I had half the stations vanish while my sats still remained there, thinking I was going crazy, I started a new game and went to check those 2 systems out and it's the same.
Haven't checked every system as it's a pain with the limited scanner, but something fishy is going on.
