Pre-ordered my copy just now.

I'm putting my trust Egosoft to make this worth the £37 (inc. p&p to UK) since they've never let me down to date.

It's always nice to have something to look forward to.

"Egosoft would like to thank you for purchasing their product!" -one of my fav lines to hear while docked at a station.

I already own all the games so I'm waiting for a new space sim to come out. I'm pretty much through with what I wanted to get out of Terran conflict. I got my monies worth and then some in entertainment.

I hope the next game has fully destructable ships and stations like the buildings in red faction gurilla. And a multieplayer where I can battle other people with my fleet.

I think it would be awesome to really crack the bow off an M2 in real time and watch it decompress just like it would in real life...different each time using phisics. Each ship could have different decks with different key systems. (You could tour your ship or go in with your marines to fight) Also an improvement would be battle damage and hull damage unique to where the ship was hit. Cracking the ships reactor causes a huge explosion. I think this would make for an awesome game with amazing visuals. Throw in a great interactive novel like story and it will be called "ground breaking!"

X-universe is for the PC..... people with PC gaming rigs like myself want to use all that extra horsepower we paid for if you know what I'm saying.
The skunk really is a bare bones model. It doesn't even have a GPS to highlight the way. Or targeting software MK 2 to allow target selection and painting from the sector map. It lacks a Trading System Extention to show prices in the sector you are in. The lack of satellites in rebirth is also annoying to the trader/pirate looking for a mark.

Great news, order pending funding avaiable :D

@Mr. Reeves:
Problem is you might want to have a NASA supercomputer if you wanted all you said on a multiplayer game, seeing how X3 TC eats CPU and GPU hungrily by itself.

As far as I'm aware the Egosoft shop will ship anywhere that the postal service will go. Obviously shipping costs will be higher for sending outside Europe.
Not to mention the euro to dollar conversion will be rather high.

I did find 3xtc at Dry's a few days after buying it on steam. It was a european release as my copy shows pegi. So check out that awfull store fry's after release.

( I am so through buying anything that is not software from them :P )

Will this release support steam conversion?

The "steam conversion" as you call it, being a part of Egosoft bonus support, and not simply a patch, my guess is you should be able to do it with any TC hardcopy you own.

But I do have a NASA super-computer. :) And it will do whatever i ask it to do. And I would pay mega-bucks for games to go to the next level. The technology is there and there is no time like the present. Otherwise i wasted all that money on horsepower. used to in the old days nobody wanted a console because the custom hand built PC does so much more. The console was a poor mans item. i would like to see the console return to the status of junk because there were more great games when consoles were complete rubbish. And compared to my AUTOPILOK they are trash. My brother sold his X-box and I built him a pc after he saw what mine did when i finished it.

I would like to introduce you to my baby i named after a certain astroid incident. I ripped everything neccicery to build it out of an M2. I call my computer AUTOPILOK

Considering XTC is still under development I'd say it's highly unlikely. XTM however might be if the XTM team signed/submitted the mod.

The latest versions of the bonus packs are included in the X Superbox. If there is a subsequent update to any of them, Terran Conflict in particular, then it will be released in the normal manner.

The Terran Conflict Bonus Pack is compatible with the version of the game that ships with the X Superbox.

Pre-ordered from amazon. Oh hell yes.

And I'd like to second the thought some others have had. If this were released by Activision or EA it'd be two to three times the price.

Much love to Egosoft, the only developer left who still cares.

Edit: does anyone have access to the amazing high res image of this with the contents laid out on amazon.co.uk? I can't copy it because of the ineractive zoomable box it's in but I'd love to put it up on a forum I'm a member of to pimp this out to my friends there.

I understand that Egosoft may prefer us to pre-order the Superbox Directly through them But can we pre-order the Superbox at the retail store as well now that the Announcement has been made.

You have free will. We have made it available for pre-order through the site to broaden your choice and for your convenience. The choice nonetheless is yours. :)

What gives Egosoft the most revenue? STEAM? Egosoft Shop? Retail?

Ive only purchased two copies of X2, three of X3, and two for X3TC. Im definitely going to get a copy of the Superbox (and more depending if any of my submissions made it, to show friends), but I'd like to help Egosoft sales as much as possible.

So which of the above gives more to the pizza supply fund?
