Quizfrage: Wieso läuft bei mir die Demo mit durchschnittlich 25 fps mehr als das eigentliche Spiel?
... Hm, mein Computer hat nichtmal einen Prozessor?
Eigentlich dachte ich, es wäre ein AMD X2 6000+ @ 3.2 GHz eingebaut. Aber die Demo vermerkt eindeutig "Nicht zutreffend"

Mit Speck fängt man Mäuse !
Manch Einer ist sich nicht schlüssig, ob er sich das Spiel kaufen sollte.
Also lädt er sich die Demo runter und freut sich über die Fps, die sein Rechner so schafft.
Voller Begeisterung rennt er in den Laden und holt sich X3TC.
Zu Hause kommt denn das große Erwachen.
Da kurven dann 20 Patrolien um ein Schiff rum und wollen alle durch das Tor,
das 5. Schiff weicht dem 7. aus, das 2. dem 12. das 15. dem .............. und die CPU schwitzt.
Glaubt "Ihr" das er sich noch mal ein Spiel von dieser Firma zulegt ?

Kleine Frage an die, die sich hier so furchtbar beschweren: Habt ihr bereits das neue Hotfix? Wenn ja müsst ihr die minimalen Systemanforderungen auf der Verpackung derbe ignoriert haben.
Ich habe: AMD 6000+ X2 (3 GHz), 2 GB RAM und eine ATI X850. Mit dem neuen Hotfix kann ich volle Qualität spielen und habe keine nennswerten Ruckler oder sonstige Probleme. Die Framerates bewegen sich im passablen Bereich. (40-50 sind bei Kämpfen kein Thema.)

Wieder so ein Mekerthread...
Klar ist die Demo unterschiedlich zum Spiel. Dürfte jedem klar sein. Wenn Egosoft die Probleme ausmerzt kann es im SPiel höhere Werte geben als im Benchmark, also lasst euch nicht verrückt machen von irgendwelchen Zahlen. Wenn man 10 fps im Benchmark hat sollte man eben bessere Hardware kaufen. Der Benchmark sagt im übrigen aus das Spiel läuft ganz ordentlich und mit der Hardware ist es grob gesagt Eigenverschulden wenn man auf so einem Rechner nicht spielen kann.
Möglicherweise ist der Rechner nur von Viren betroffen. Aber daran denkt ja keiner solange man was zu meckern hat.

Ich sehe da Potential für eine Tuninganleitung! Wenn ich meine Daten mit denen von BurnIT vergleiche, dann sollte ich bei Think und Build 10 Minimum-FPS mehr... mindestens. Wat muss ick tun, damit et aussieht wie et tun sollte?!

warum ist ein großteil des vorigen beitrages nonsens?
X³ TC ist ein monocorespiel was bedeutet, dass ein Kern allein die arbeitet stemmen muss, jedoch evtl. einige wenige aufgaben auf den unbenutzen zweiten core auslagern kann, weshalb auch dort eine geringe auslastung festzustellen ist.
Ich meinerseits bin Besitzer eines C2D E8400, einer der besten Dualcores auf dem Markt (2*3Ghz, 2*1,5GFlop/s) und wenn ich denn Spiele, liegt die Coreauslastung bei einem bei knapp 90% und beim anderen bei knapp 20%. Das war bei der Rolling Demo nicht anders.
Des weiteren besitze ich eine 8800GT, welche doch immernoch der gehobenen leistungsklasse entspricht aber was musste ich sehen? Während der Chipsensor im Idle eine Temperatur von 47°-49°C aufweist (atm nach 1 stunde IDLE 48°) steigt die GPU temperatur während TC nur um gerange Mengen an auf 51°-53°C. Wenn ich jedoch TrackMania Nations Forever Spiele, welches graphisch weit weniger "Toll" aussieht, so habe ich eine GPu Temperatur von kanppen 60°-61°C also die grafikkarte fällt hier klar raus, wohingegen meine CPU mit ihren 1,5GFlop/s für das Spiel klar limitierend ist. Als letztes in der Nutzungseihe steht bei mir der Ram 2GiB mit 667MHz angesteuert, wenn ich spiele sind diese ratz fatz voll. Das Spiel ist momentan minimiert, und ich habe knapp 1700MiB belegt, davon nutzt TC 1,25GiB und Firefox als zweiter Großnutzer 146MB. Der Rest verteilt sich auf hauptsächlich 50 MB Messenger und AntiVirusProgramm und viele kleine Prozesse. (Rivatuner, Fraps, Speedfan...)
Beim Spielen konnte ich durch die rivatunerStatistik sehen, dass mein Ram (vor dem 1.2.1 hotfix) bis auf 4 MB belegt war.
Im Spiel äußert sich das ganze wie folgt: Wenn ich Spiele wird der ram erstmal vollgefresse und dann lagt es für 5 sekunden und er pendelt sich auf einen fest wert ein ,der mit jedem Tordurchgang singt und wieder steigt. Die FPS raten halten sich hingegen Stabil jedoch ca 20 FPS unterhalb dessen, was die Demo mir bringt. Die Gründedafür finde ich darin, dass die Demo kein komplettes Universum bietet sondern nur aufwendig einen Sektor rendern lässt, also hat dies hier durchaus seine Berechtigung. Mit eingeschaltetem SINZA (10x) muss meine CPU die 10 fache Menge an Routinen während der gleichen Zeit durchspulen, was durchaus die Zehntelung der FPSraten nach sich ziehen kann, jedoch veringert sich bei mir dieser Wert "nur" auf Vor1.2.1Fixniveau auf 25-30 FPS in großen Sektoren mit vielen Schiffen/Astros, wohingegen Nebelsektoren eine ca 25% bessere Leistung zeigen lassen.
Es nutz selbst ein sehr gutes System nichts, wenn das Spiel die ganze Leistung der CPU braucht und die Grafikkarte nichts zu tun hat.
Und warum sollte ich wegen 10FPS in der Demo mir bei diesem System neue Komponenten kaufen? Bessere Preiss/leistungskomponenten (vor allem zum Kaufzeitpunkt) wirst Du kaum auf dem Markt finden.

Nunja... Ich bin froh dass ich überhaupt noch in den Genuss von TC kam. Bin also froh dass sich Egosoft an der Grafikengine fest hielt.--------------------------

Zwar kam ich noch nie in den Genuss von AA und AF-Effekten aber ich vermisse es wohl auch nicht wirklich, weil ich es halt auch noch nie so wirklich gesehen habe.
