There are now two main categories divided into total of 8 subcategories.
As before, post 1 entry per subcategory (per author).
If you post more, they'll just be non-contest entries - which is fine too.

Cinematic (for lack of better word)
- something that can go along with a short story

Digital art:
- any theme: character, ship, other, as long as it's related to X Universe (not specifically X3).
3d art
- 3D art with original models or borrowed from the X games
- please specify if models are original
2d art / paintings
- any media (other than 3D modelers)
Collages
- collages, modified or photoshoped images. Different from 2D or 3D art due to borrowed images from X games.
- please specify if a significant part of an image is an original art


use your best judgment for any entry/image in the grey area

Please post images as reply's to this topic with a thumbnail.
Images don’t have to be with all setting on high, even a low quality screenshot can look good
Of course this competition is not restricted to this English forum, everyone is welcome

Moving along the giant rocks, H'nt T'Krr felt really small - he was to mine minerals from these asteroids? It was his first day of work, and H'nt already knew what lay ahead... Mining is a hard and lonely business. - I took this pic in Split Fire during the betatest of the Mobile Mining/Mineral Collection software. Later, some Pirates came along and killed me... Mining is not only a hard and lonely, but also a pretty dangerous business.
