can everyone quickly start a terran commander game, buy a few poltergeist and shoot em in rapid succession at a legitimate enemy.
please?
EDIT: if nothing happens, can you reload from before the patch and get a swarm missile and fire one off?
EDIT2: title change.

Just saying it forward: I give everyone 2 posts to make good, in context posts(proper english, as always, is optional). After that I'm ignoring what you have to say in that thread that's directed to what we previously were talking about.
This is a bug introduced in 1.1, which doesn't appear if you start a new game.

Found a save game from 1.0, loaded it up, and fired a few Wasps. They work fine.
Osaka I saw how fired 10-20 times more missiles at Boreas. After the explosion of Boreas, the rest in the beautiful rocket firework ekplodowała in space. Unfortunately the fireworks ended the game freezing.
PS. Sorry for my bad English, my language is Polish.

I'm currently investigating this problem. I have an example savegame which exhibits the problem, but I don't currently know what causes it or more importantly why it only seems to happen for some people and then only when loading savegames from 1.0. Any information on other common factors that people who are seeing the problem can identify, that make their savegames different from others', would be much appreciated.
- Find the X3AP.exe file in your Steam games folder, right click, choose Properties, and check the File Version and Product Version on the Details tab.
- Start the game and check the version in the top right corner of the options screen, i.e. the one which has the Start X3:AP button.
- Go into the main in-game menu and check the version in the bottom right corner of the screen. It's sometimes a bit hard to see as it can look rather like part of the highway construction scene.
If any of the above do not say 1.1 then you may have an incomplete download of the patch.
Update: Anyone encountering this problem should try a Steam file verification. It seems to happen when there are mismatched files in your game installation.
