Gamestarts
Hey all,
I'm just getting back into TC and have just reinstalled it, much to my annoyance I haven't got access to any of the non default gamestarts any more.
I seem to recall a thread that listed the criteria needed to unlock them but can't find it using the search/extra search function. Any help would be much appreciated. A way to unlock them easily all the more so.
Thanks!

Thanks guys!
Would it be possible for me to get any of the starts I used to have available by loading my old save-games (I'd unlocked most of them thanks to high combat rank, completing lots of stuff except the HUB, high race ranks etc)?
Thanks again.

There are only two (unless you count bounty hunters), and they're both basically 'earn x credits in y time'.

Did anyone work up a registry thingie like there was for X3:R to unlock the unlockable starts?
Else I guess I should go with Bankrupt assassin to keep things interesting. I had planned on continuing my attempts to survive the one where you start off in the middle of split space with an experimental ship and the split trying to kill you.
Edit : Unholy Traitor wasn't it? Did anyone manage to survive it yet?

I was looking for something a mite more user friendly than "go into your registry and poke the right thing" on account of me not being the most tech-savvy user out there but more than savvy enough to understand that if I screw up while I'm fooling around in the registry then Very Bad Things will happen.
Just some basic instructions would do it, although the amount of hassle necessary seems too much, might be easier to just start out as a bankrupt assassin and redo the plots and whatnot.
Thanks anyway

It doesn't get much more basic than what's already posted, but you can do this: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php? ... 83#2917883
