[Script Request/Idea] Empire status Report

Does anyone know of a script that displays your empire in the logbook when requested.

i.e.

Code: Select all

Name : Julian
Piloting: Argon Nova
Funds : 2,000,000 CR
Player ships 0 x M0
0 x M1
etc
Player stations = 4

Does anyone think this is a good idea, or not.
As I am trying to learn scripting and this is what I am going to attempt.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Be aware I am very new to scripting and have to print the MSCIHandbook first.

Had no response to this. Thought it was a good idea but has probably already been done before. If anyone knows of a similar script please point me in the right direction.

if u have a G15 keyboard, then that kind of thing is sent to the LCD Display

Unfortunately, I neither have nor can afford one of those keyboards so am currently stuck with counting myself.

It can be done, very easily in fact. Max. 50 lines, if one does good work. The biggest part would be the implementing... with a little practice, every scripter and even a newbie can do this.

I will give it ago if you want, I am bored, and want things to script so I can practise. Im not that good but I will try.

I would very much appreciate you having a go and if you don't mind i can then look at yours to see how it is implemented. Just printed off the MCSI handbook and reading through it at present. Got a few ideas but God there is alot here.
