Im in the process of modding some ships.
The Idea is to get a mission of a BB to locate and find a lost Exodus Fleet.
The Exodus Fleet will consist of two ships:
The GENESIS
and the CLAYMORE.
The Claymore is a battleship with 12 guns per Turret.
The GENESIS is the Flagship of that ancient Fleet and is one of the (or the ) biggest ships in X3.
The ship models were modded with X2 Parts.
The GENESIS as the colonization Ship of that ancient Fleet has some special effects.
For one is has some special eqipment left on Board.
One the the Energy Generator.
If active it uses 4/5 of the shield strength to generate E-Cells... the shields are down to 1/5 while it generates E-Cells, the generation rate depends on shield strength... get a 10 GJ Shield and it will do 60 in a minute. Cap is 2000 E-Cells.
The other is a fabrication module.
This module is able to create Exodus Fleet small craft and special systems
which cant be bought.
Production rate depends on hull strength of produced vessel.
To produce a ship you will need
Raw Resources
Credits
and
Energy Cells.
Added together the ships will cost about one fifth more than the comparable Argon ships.
Both the Genesis and the Claymore will be heavily damaged and will be barebone, i.e. one 25 MW shield.
Repairing and outfitting the ships will be a costly project, but the production capability of the GENESIS will make it interesting.
EXODUS FLEET small craft consist of
M4 Stiletto a deadly interceptor
M3 Peregrine all in all just a bit more than a tad better than other M3
TP Trader, a Fleet support Vessel with 1000 XL Cargospace able to dock to the GENESIS or other TL M1 ships.
Due to the age of the ships certain weapon systems will unavailable
the best the stiletto will be able to mount is the Beta Particle Cannon
Some LostTech Systems will make these ships able to hold their own against the others in the X3 Universe.
The Genesis will have a special EXODUS FLEET AI Bord Computer which will allow it to:
Send a Fleet Tender to repair, refurbish and collect disabled vessels.
Send Trader ships to buy Resources and material if they are particuliary cheap in the sector,
Send Trader ships to sell on board resources if they are at high demand in the sector.
Run and manage sector defensive systems: i.e. Produce (over time, and at the cost of credits and materiel) guntowers and satelites and place them,
produce and outfit (again at cost of credits and materiel) E.F.S. vessels to mount CAPs and Sector defenses,
Repair ships.
Im playtesting and balancing at the moment.
Comments and idea welcome.
Also need help in setting up a mission that allows the player to find the ship.
Would also appreciate if someone could tell me how to script a command that makes a ship neutral/no pilot/claimable like the other 'lost' ships in the game. Havent found it yet.
