Has there been any word on whether or not Terran Conflict will receive a similar update to allow full controller support?

I was hoping to play through both games using a controller and I was quite disappointed when I realized TC did not support the controller.

If TC does not get controller support my next question would be if I would miss out on anything by skipping TC and only playing AP? My gaming is done from the couch so using a controller is considerably more comfortable for me but I am willing to use a KB+M if it means I will miss out on something by skipping TC.

Buy the Superbox and play them all.. It's easily worth every penny (yes even without controllers).

I'm in the process of checking out the controller input with my xbox360 controller.

Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of the thumbstick, since at full extend it still turns slower then the keyboard control.

Also Rolling Left and Right is not available on the control scheme.

Perhaps if this can't be looked at for AP, this might be worth a look at for X Rebirth.

I've played quite a bit (maybe too much ) and aside from "Corporate Troubles", I've no idea how to start theses plots.

I think you mean, who to give over to the Split female!

I'm sure you've already picked by this time, but there are benefits and drawbacks to who you ally with. The clues are in the messages she gives you before you decide. Also, there are hidden perks that may not manifest themselves depending on your existing standing with other races.

Jonferco, at least on the surface, is a by the numbers company. They deal in high tech goods and must maintain a public image. They are the least likely to take risks, but that doesnt mean they won't go after your assets twice as hard if you use them and backstab them later.

Strong Arms are Split. Through and through. They offer arguably the best test beds in recent memory. They won't bother stabbing you in the back. It will come right to the face.

The Beryll are a shadowy organization allied with the Yaki and key players in the illegal technology black market. They can offer you hard to get items, but bear in mind it may be a one time offer! If you do ally with the Yaki, they probably will ask you to do things you may regret later.

Whoever you ally with, be prepared for repercussions later. Your enemies do not forgive, do not forget.

Affirmative! You're getting Ghoul fabs, Spectre fabs, MAML warhead fabs, MAM mine fabs, Ice mines, and a few Terran bio factories you couldn't get before

Rumour has it some enemies carry them from time to time, also its said that in one journey one comes across some. Possibly some in the "far out sectors" not connected to the gate system.
They are quite rare though it seems.

When receiving the first shares after doing a delivery mission will this plot continue itself or do I have to do something myself? For eg. I went to talk to a split at the Stockmarket to get more information but did not know what to do next?

I assume the new controller functionality refers to x-input (x-box compatible) devices? Does it allow customization, or only preset profile(s)?

As far as traditional (DirectInput) devices, have any improvements been made? I would love to be able to use all the axes on my joystick. I think X3 only supports 4 axes on DI, despite having many control axes visible in the options.

The main changes are from xinput yes. It is fully customisable. The new menu gives you an easier way to define each control with a selection of commands.

If the commands you want to assign are not available, you can assign them all manually in the standard input menu. This includes all the axis's (2 sticks and 2 triggers)

The triggers can be assigned to either an anolgue axis, or as a standard digital button

i have max reputation with all races including pirates except for yaki
yaki is at about 50000 but i m working on it

sooo well it was a bit vague i can deal with consequences (well maybe my millions of cr may have a use after all )

Just another confirmation that Egosoft does indeed listen to player feedback. I for one am very grateful they okayed 3.0 to expand Terran content.
