You're really not providing enough information... I'm sure it would be easier for someone to help you if you were more specific.Commander582 wrote:Thanks, builder but I am having trouble with the plugin manager while trying to get the cheat collection to install but it keeps failing.
Failing how?
Do you have other mods that work fine with your current installation of Plugin Manager?
Did you get any errors when you installed the Plugin Manager?
What directory did you install the Plugin Manager to?
What version of the Plugin Manager are you using?
Is the Plugin Manager set to "Modified?" (under Settings, Mode)
Does your Plugin Manager know where your "\x3 terran conflict" folder is?
What is the full directory to that folder on your machine?
What exact actions are you using to install the cheat collection? Double clicking? Dragging and dropping it somewhere? Right clicking and selecting "Open With...?"
What folder is your cheat collection .spk in right now?
Can you see it?
What icon does it have?
Did you perhaps by accident disable or change *.spk file association somehow?
What exact indication are you being given that your installation has failed?
What other messages are you receiving, if any?
It could literally be any or none of the above... but it's hard to know where to begin to try and help without any details.

Cycrow:
Is it possible to make a command that destroys all non-player owned ships (and only ships, no stations) in the universe? Thus allowing the player to insert a new jobs/jobwings and basically start a fresh universe in a saved game, which will repopulate itself based on your new jobs file? I know there are converters available for this but I wanted to check if this was possible first.

So I looked at the script in question, and it's even easier than that. It only grabs the ships of AI races, checks if they have a blank name, then destroys them if they're not invincible. I just removed the name check:

Drop this in your Scripts folder, open up the Script Editor, and run z.temp.kill.nonplayer to destroy all AI ships that can be.

I assume uninstallation is as simple as deleting the script? I.e., the save game won't continue looking for it after I delete it?

Basically using this as an easy "reboot" of all AI ships in my universe. The idea is to just ride out this jobs file until the new streamlined SRM jobs comes out (from vkerinav). If I have to, I'll keep doing "reboots" as needed until then.HotSake wrote:Well, you did just cut out a huge number of running scripts. Well over half, easily. We'll see what GOD and Jobs can do to claw those FPS back. Also, good luck to the economy...builder680 wrote:Ok, after using this, my frame rates went from 5-20fps to 40-60fps. In an empty sector.
Most transporters and such are already back in the universe after a few minutes. We'll see how it does. I kept backups just in case, but I'll suspect it'll be fine.
This is getting off topic of cheat package though.

Well I used this a long time ago and got it working fine but now it just wont work for me.
The plugin manager installs the SPK fine even checked the scripts folder and sure enough there all there. I can even see the scripts in the game through the script editor. But I don't have the cheat option under the station/my ship menus. Is this compatible with the newest version?
Edit: Never mind I'm an idiot.
