I've just got the PAC's right? So I can confidently point the finger in someone else's direction? Good.
Someone lobbed a missile. Now who do we know who had Tempests on board..?

64 - Ore
Didn't actually make a whole lot of profit off of that particular little venture I'm reckoning. I've been reviewing damage incurred from the last jaunt and with repairs required for 'Limbo', 'Bait' 'Quick Death' and my Iguana I think that pretty much swallows up the million or so payoff I received from the Teladi. Now add cost of ammunition used.. hmm.
Well anyway, while I've been off chasing semi-sentient machines my contracted haulers have arrived at their destination and we're ready for the next stage of construction which is the ore production side which will feed the manufacturing complex. There's twelve ore asteroids in this sector and I plan to stick mines on all twelve. Not all of them are required for the actual ore requirements I'll be having, but the extra ones will provide additional storage capacity for the complex and enable me to shift large quantities of ore around should I come across the need.

.. First six mines down then and I can already see a need to get the tractor beam in operation, it's not going to be simple to link all those twelve neatly with their current positions so I've a plan to do some work around that side of things a little. Well, not me personally, more the ever happy captain of 'Bloody Mary'. He loves it!
With the first of the ore mines down then the next stage is to setup the Paranid side of the complex which has been sourced from Heavens Assertion shipyard and will consist of three Hornet heavy-missile fabs and two Hurricane missile fabs..

.. The Hornets will provide my larger ships with a valuable heavy strike capability against heavier targets of M6 and above as well as a one-shot capability on practically everything else. The Hurricane is an exceptionally fast missile with a comparatively heavy warhead for it's speed and makes an excellent anti-M5 missile. I'm contemplating field-testing them out with Green wing to see if that will provide them with some more definitive killing power. Wasps are good, but are more an attrition warhead than an outright killer. The food fabs for the Paranid missile fabs are tagged on the end of the missile row so the entire complex, aside from the need for ore and energy, is a self-contained unit.
Elsewhere the final bunch of specialists, or at least hopefully so given how much they've cost, has finally finished training..
