2 hours... Just deleting a few lines and correcting a few readme points, then the whole software will be up again.
The link is still on the page. Just to the right of the "download"-sign, there is a blank space with the link. I do however not advise using it, as the explorer-software is part of the bonuspack and everyone should have that.

Taxi Problem
I downloaded the file and only installed the .spk file using the installer. Noted that all files seem to be in scripts and T.
But I can't seem to find how to start getting the taxi service started?
Have I installed wrong?

symtech trying out this script and found that it works great on T5's bringing in good steady profits tried it on a free TP however it just says command accepted then beeps how do i figure out whats wrong. I have set it up on a starburst and that works fine. got same software on both ships double checked to make sure. i've even droppped the explorer software and rebought still no go. uninstalled script ran game then exited and reinstalled again still no go. any ideas why it wont start on a this ship?

i double checked the TP has the same Software as a starburst i already have running. Cargo Life Support, Duplex Scanner, Explorer Software, Fight command Mk1, Fight command Mk2, Navigation Command Software, SETA, Trade Command Software Mk1, Trade Command Software Mk2 and Special Command Software. Like i mentioned before Starburst works great good Steady profit but the TP just beeps at me.

Pay scale...
I tried to have them earn less that UT, because the limitation in number of ships you can use is not that low, and both the ships snd the equipment are cheap. But a high-ranked pilot will just as well bring in lots of money.
I think a longer ride (~5 sectors) brought in 50.000-100.000 Cr for TP with a good pilot during the betatests, with M5, in-sector-flights are between 1.000 and 10.000 Cr. Thus, I might even decrease the salary in the next update
(btw: The most current version of this script is included in the "x3plus"-script package. All future updates will first be released in that package, not every version will get a standalone release
- although the package only got a thread in German right now, all English language files are included, and all commands are listed in the compatibility list.)

Trade Software MK 1? I'm assuming that was just a typo. Everything looks right to me, you may have to double-check every detail (with no assumptions that you've already done that). Here's what I did and it works fine for me:
1. Get a ship - check that class is TP
2. Install Explorer software (which you have)
3. Install Cargo Lifesupport (which you have)
4. Deploy 2 advanced satellites at 0,0,0 (or very close) in 2 adjacent sectors. You can do this easily by using your ship's Navigation command to "move to position".
5. Rename your satellites to "Taxi".
6. Go to your new ship's command console: Navigation > Taxi Software MK 1
7. Select starting sector and ending sector.
Should work...
