X2 Galaxy Editor, installing ship extensions.

How do I save the settings for AI ships that have been placed in the Editor ? Engine tunings, rudder settings and combat commands.

When I "Start New game in custom Galaxy" the AI ships spawn but only with the default loadouts. :gruebel:
Extended Horizons. Adds 15 new sectors to explore and to make a home in for your empire. Works with your existing Game save and does not require a new start.
Wing combat commands: Attack Fighters and Attack Capships. Adds the two commands to the Wing Combat menu.

you need to make a startup script that creates and upgrades them, I guess...

nope, you dont have to.. equipment should be stored in the map :]
(not sure how the editor handles scripts though :P)

It only seems to be stored for Player ships unless I am missing something obvious.

well.. shields do get stored
as does additional equipment
(those ships still get their standard equipment i think)

just added a 5mw shield to an argon colossus -> it was the only shield it had when starting the game
added this non-working cloaking device, too -> was there ingame

(all changes were made with my editor, not the ingame thingy.. no clue how that will behave, although it should do the same stuff :P)
