[Bug] SpaceFly Farm

Post by Thurston Beers »

The Spacefly farm/mine does not register when connecting to a complex. Hiring a builder TL will result in all the stations being placed (including the complex hub) but not connected. I am unable to manually connect the spacefly farm/mine to the complex.

Can the distance from the 'maze' to the complex hub be increased when using automatic build? The Hub is being placed too close to the remaining factories. The AI is unable to path to the station while the user is in system.

I appreciate the automation that went into building player complexes! This has made the overall experience so much more enjoyable. :)

Spacefly farm wont be allowed to be complexable. Its a unique type of station and thus we decided for it to be like it is now.

Why not? It does not have any super special features like ship building, marine training or anyhing. Its simply producing a product (spaceflies) like any normal factory or does it have a feature i did not spot yet?
I also build one just yesterday and was wondering why i couldnt add it to my complex.

The model doesn't support it, to make it complexable would require it changing to a generic model, loosing its unique look

Perhaps it is possible to "connect" it via ships and commands.
I once created a super complex connected by Springblossoms in X3:AP (using Logistics Software MKx). I think this feature is implemented without the need of this software equipment.
