How do you pack a station/Skylab to move it to another sector?
How do you pack a station/Skylab to move it to another sector? It's probably a really simple fix that I just can't find. Help greatly appreciated.

Get yourself a TL. Install Build Command Software MK2. The option will be available under special commands to pack a station.
X fanatic. More of an X3 fanatic.
What about X4? Nah, I prefer a space simulator rather than a walking simulator.

Do you have to wait for a reverse engineering procedures to finish before the HQ will pack up? I gave a Mammoth the command and it docked and just sits with 'loading wares' as the active command.

I'd guess that it needs to complete its current task at least, but you should be able to remove other tasks from the queue (building/RE'ing/dismantling etc) easily enough

Never played AP; all X3 advice is based on vanilla+bonus pack TC or before: AP has not changed much WRT general advice.

yes all your current production tasks need to be complete before the station is packed.
the TL will wait for this to happen. Also, it'll remove any items from the existing queue and add them back once you rebuild the HQ, so you only need to wait for the current production items
