"Negociate Discount" is not working - answered

Hello,

After using "Negociate Discounts" 3 times I noticed the following:
-in all cases the Status/Progress for the Agent is advancing until 10% and then is stuck at that level until the Agent returns home(meanwhile the timer on the right side is going up normally)
-in 2 of the 3 cases the Agent returns home and the target Shipyard has no apparent discount
-in 1 case the discount had the opposite effect? The prices increased at the target shipyard.

Didn't get the chance to screenshot but the results are the same as Case 2

I got no success/failure message when the agent returned.

I am running FL1.0 as I did not see any mention of this in the 1.1 patch notes

the first screenshots look correct to me.

the one "before" shows the agent is there, so the prices are lower.
The one "after" the agent has gone, and the prices are back to normal

As for your second one, the agent hasn't started gaining a discount yet, still meeting and greeting

Hang on a second.........so that's how it works? I thought you send the agent and the discount is offered AFTER he was done.

Ok so the discount is available while he is working there. OK my bad

yes, the discount is active while he is there. The agent requires an upkeep, so you need to make sure theres enough influence available.
but they can stay as long as you want until you either recall them, or they run out of the influence

Oh very cool. And from what I can tell the percent number is the discount value? It goes up to 10%?

yes, 10% is the maximum

Is that 10% set in stone currently? Mainly asking because by the time you would use the discount action, you'd probably be more than enough money that 10% just wouldn't be worth it over getting special ships or increasing the amount of equipment in your HQ. Even if you do use it early on, it'd quickly lose steam late game.

Can you double them up and send more than one agent for 10% discount getting a 20% discount?

Oh if you get a discount then send an agent for equipment can you get a permanent discount at your headquarters?
