NPC ships not updating FF settings?

With relations being quite dynamic, it is not good that spawned ships dont update their hostility status to the current setting occasonally. This means that you will see hostile ships of that race even if you are at rank 5 with them, when you where hostile before. You cant apologize to them or force them to update their FF status. They have to die and respawn before you dont see them... Which is a problem when said ships are M2+ or other capitals that are unlikely to die any time soon.

In my game, I can apologize for weapon fire and they immediately turn in to blue. Are you sure you are in good relations with them?

this has been pretty much the same with all X3 games.

there are some things that can trigger an update which may revert the relations, like having assets in a sector and viewing the sector map

I still have hostile pirate capital ships flying around the universe, i'm at rank 5 with them
