20h verdict: Farnham's Carnage

After a very slow start, i finally got free of the start plot (which was getting frustrating... "fly 500km to report to guy A, fly 500km back to report to guy B")

For reference - i started as Yaki, which btw

Now that i'm free i got to explore a bit, and from what i can see - the universe is just entire chaos, carnage and madness
The relations the races have towards each other and the Trade ship behaviours just dont play well with each other.
Ships constantly attack each other wherever different races meet, in every sector. Be it military vs. foreign traders, or just traders going at each other for no reason. Basic NPC trader behaviour just dont care if they are about to pass into an area where they will be guaranteed getting shot at (paranid flying into argon core sectors).

Military seems very active for all races. The result of my plot choice is that in every pirate sector along the Split Fire <-> Hatikvah's route at every moment, there is at least 1 military capital ship (argon/paranid/pirate) wrecking everything that is hostile to them, sometimes up to 4. In addition, Xenon swarm out of Xenon Sector 101 on constant basis, wrecking everything that is not already wrecked by military ships.

with 1 Q at first, that just stayed there until i dispatched it with my Susanonwa and a bunch of Tornado missiles - only to immediately be replaced by another Q. When i killed that, 2 more popped in through the gates. One got stuck and exploded, the other i dispatched. And now, only moments later a K visited. I have no idea if that is scripted to be that way or just a result of how the gates are connected now. But it sure seems like its scripted, because what are the chances...

Whats even worse is that the escort ships of all the capital ships (definitely in case of Xenon, unsure about the race military and trader escorts) respawn immediately respawn after their destruction in their nearest shipyard, and then directly fly to their "parent capital ship".
With so many military ships on the lose and constant battles, there is a neverending stream of Xenon and other military ships through all the sectors, because those only stop if the capital is killed.

Its fun to watch for a while, but its not a solid basis for a stable game.

The xenons are a bug currently and its supposed to be fixed with the next patch.
thats one big reason why i am really looking forward to that patch. with that i might finally be able to be gone from the Hub/void alpha for more than 30 minutes without a Q attacking my stuff there.

i think you mean its fixed in the current patch

Nopileo's memorial jump gate to Xenon sector 101 can be considered as the gateway to the hell. Xenons pop out continuously with multiple capital ships. Its never ending and as you said, fun to experience at first, but then becomes a hindrance.

Also, now the factions are fighting each other the economy seem to be very unstable. There are many many empty military outposts, trading stations & equipment docks without a single ware to be sold. I dont know if its possible to make only military ships fight each other. Why not allow peaceful traders to go by?

X fanatic. More of an X3 fanatic.
What about X4? Nah, I prefer a space simulator rather than a walking simulator.

But only the Xenon invading the hub. The other constant battles between races are still going to be a problem, the races are at war (in terms of relations) but the traders logic just isnt suited to this, as they have no consideration for that - they want to trade with everyone, and fly through every sector.
