Stealing blueprints?

Post by cheef.che »

I've about 10 attemps to steel blueprints from Paranid and Boron, but all were failed. What is the chance of stealing? And could the chance be increased? Cause for now it looks like wasting of time for me

I personally have stopped trying to steal blueprints and just decided to buy them instead with the aquire blueprints option. Costs less actions and influence. On top of that you actually see the chance to succeed.

Was it always the same blueprint, or different ones. And did you reload after failed attempts?

as the chance increases each time you fail

Sorry but how to steal blueprints? Need to be docked at some special stations with some special software?

Just checked logs: looks like I've reloaded during attemps, but my log still containing 4 failed attemps for boron Silicon mine M and 2 for paranid Solar power plant M. However I've made another 2 attemps: silicon mine failed, but power plant retrived!
This time I've sent agent with more then 2 task points remaining (all failed agents had 2 points remaning before I sent them to steal). Will send another agents later

It could be made through diplomacy, if you have enough influence and agent, then you could send him to target shipyard
