I'm curious, Q you players will ask Bernard on Oct 29?

Like the title says. In preparation of oct 29th.
I'm wondering?.bye all. :P
1)Will pirates have there own ship types?.
2)Will have there. own econimy/sectors.,like in x3.
3) Will never spawn ships out of thin air?.

-What their plans with the locked SCA relations are, and whether this will finally be fixed by 3.0. With all the fixes coming/already here, the locked SCA relations issue is the only thing that's still very band-aid Early Access-like (and technically a cheat). Improvements to the SCA faction is completely pointless if it remains as static as it is. What's the point if all you can do with them is exploit them?

-What their plans are for the random encounters, it really hurts the sense of exploration and deep space.

-And also ask if they would please, pleeeaaasssseee add a few more sectors (unclaimed or not) to vanilla X4 instead of having to buy them via Split DLC. The vanilla universe is just too small, there's just no room for building an empire whilst leaving other factions relatively intact. It should not be necessary to pay money as a solution to this problem.

Are there any plans to do something with the miscellaneous titles given by factions (Argon Secret Service, Mercenary Guild, 'Stargazer' Guild)?

General X4 questions:
-What can we expect with the post 3.0 patches and the 2nd DLC?
-With advent of the second DLC release, is there a possibility that they break habit and work on a third, possibly Boron related DLC?
-Can we get a revamp on the character designs?
-Can we get a revamp on the boring-looking kitbashed ships? (I'm looking at you, Incarcatura)
-Will you improve the Player HQ functionality? For instance, Research shouldn't be so easy and light on functionality, the HQ model should be "completable" (instead of its permanent chunky unfinished appearance), and should be considered a threat for some factions maybe?
-The current universe is kind of boring visual-vise. I'm aware that the Split DLC will bring at least one cool looking system with the Blackhole consuming the sun thing (Blackhole Sun - what a missed opportunity there!), but could we also get a revamp on the original vanilla cluster/sector visuals?

v3.0/Split Vendetta related questions:
-How are you going to revamp the Mission system?
-Can we only expect Split ships/assets, or are we getting some Argon/Paranid/Teladi ships too? It would be nice to fill the gap of the missing ship classes on the racial side (eg Argon/Teladi Corvette)?
-How are you going to handle the aforementioned story plot missions (regarding the dynamic nature and uncertain outcomes of the game)?

Gameplay related gameplay questions:
-Are you ever going to finish up the ingame Encyclopedia, and if not planned, is there a possibility for us players to help to fill it?
-Are there plans for addressing the map's awkward post-deep space exploration state (stays super out-zoomed)?
-Is there a possibility of rethinking the Encounters/Deep space exploration mechanism?
-Are you going to reconsider adding Jumpdrive back?
-Can we expect more end-game content? (eg, dynamic race relations, factions responding more aggressively to player actions, full-scale galactic war(s), new threats [could even be a new faction or a more advanced Xenon branch])?
-Are you going to improve the Kha'ak any time?
-Can we expect NPC Training Centers/Seminar functionality added or utilized?
-Also, can we expect hireable NPCs with randomized skill-sets?
-Are you going to touch-up on the balance of ships/turrets?
-Can we get a revamp on the weapons? I understand that the current generalised system is more transparent (eg, S laser, M laser / M laser turret, L laser turret, etc...), however it's rather anti-climatic too.
-Can we get racial weapons added (missing moun charger, mass-driver, +even more)?
-Could you somehow make NPCs more lively? I'm not talking about anything drastic, but right now they reek of lifelessness regarding how bland they are.

Abstract questions:
-Is it in the possibility to alter the game's code in such way to add the proposed Reactors back into the ships properties (that weapons, shield recharge, and boosters/travel drives could utilize)?
-Can we get back the fun looking Superhighway mazes/paths from X-Rebirth (doesn't have to be that overdramatic, just not as boring as the straight lines we have currently - at least something interplanetary from planet to moon)?
-Is it ever going to be possible to alter/build/destroy regular Highways?
-Is it possible to introduce such landing pads into the game that doesn't have the "lift" functionality, thus could be approached from more directions by NPC ships, other than above? I'm thinking of something like the already implemented quick-launch bays, but with more functionalities/details.
-Are you ever going to introduce Corporations to the game (as individual, goal-oriented factions)?
-Can you add S-class, possibly manable turrets for small ships?
-Can we expect more "rooms" to explore, especially on cap ships? For instance, engineering bay, lounge, private quarters, tactical holodecks, that sort of thing.

Wait, that's a lot of questions.

Good idea. Here are some I like:
Could you please provide more details about the "things [that] have emerged that we really want to see implemented"?

How are Egosoft's finances after X4? Have you been doing better than expected, or worse? How much?

What do you consider the most effective and helpful way for us to provide suggestions?

When can we expect X4's effects (graphical and sound effects) to be at least on par with X Rebirth's?

Great questions! I like all of them and because I dont have time to ask Bern myself, I really support you to ask all of your questions.
Most important for me:
  • new ships for existing races
  • new boost mechanic with energy from generator or so
  • improved effects for explosions and weapons
  • improved sounds
  • new mission types
XR Ship Pack (adds several ships from XR) Link

Economy Overhaul (expands the X4 economy with many new buildings) Link

How diplomacy will be implemented for player faction?
Will other factions have dynamic relationships with possible wars and peace times or it will be locked as it is currently? Will we be able to influence relations between other factions?

WIll you fix the AI?
Will you add the content that should have been added by the release of the game? (Like paranid and Teladi special weapons)
Will you update Pirates and khaak beyond placeholder status?
Will you update missions beyond placeholder status?
Will you balance ships classes? (The M class ships balance is all over the place)
Will you balance weapons?

Also, the individual plotline-mission chains for each gamestart characters. It's pretty clear that they had to cut corners by release.

check out new beta, it has the drone fix
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.
