X-55 Rhino setup

Hello,

I'm having a really difficult time setting up my X-55 Rhino for use in AP. I don't understand the configuration concept at all: I play Elite:Dangerous a lot and to map controls there you simply select the control type and move or click whatever you want to control it with. I'm sorry about seeming so stupid; but I *REALLY* love this game and want to use it with my X-55 Rhino. I don't understand the external config at all; although it seems that if I could figure it out the in-game config might be useable.

Well, the only problem for that is I'm on a MAC. The joiner app doesn't work in OS X. Furthermore on the MAC side of the external controller config, it says "source axis" what the hell does that mean and how would I know which axis is what if my Rhino doesn't list that? Talk about useless. It doesn't matter which axis i move and assign, it just doesn't work. Still can't fly, and if I'm not flying on my HOTAS (which works with everything else) I won't have played X3AP/or X3R for more than 50 min. These programs are a waste of money until I can fly with my joystick.

LOL I told you guys I was stupid (actually I thought I didn't see one for mac)
