Help with starting the AP Plot

Ok this is going to be really convoluted and I apologize.

Im trying to start the AP plot, or I may have already started it but its not in my mission log. This save is from almost a year ago and I think right when I started the game I just flew off and didn't care about the plot.

Just started playing again and realized I need to finish the AP plot to start the hub plot. But I cant get the AP plot to start im argon rank 10 terran rank -3. Im in argon sector M148 or what ever. I even just did the flight school tutorial hoping it would kick me to the plot after.

So can the plot be bugged ? Is there a point in the plot where you finish it and the next part dosent show up in your mission log. AFAIK I never started the AP plot but idk it was awhile ago. I never finished it because I cant start the hub plot and ive flown around in boron sectors trying to get it to trigger , thats how it was done in X3TC

Also is there a cheat or something to finish just the AP plot. I could care less about the AP plot I just want to start the HUB plot

Im on the argon peacekeeper start and im using the XVM mod + a few other scripts but the scripts shouldnt interfere with the plot.
The 3 missions in my log are 2 from asterus corp and 1 for PMC

You mean 'XRM'? If so, you should ask in that thread in the S&M forum since I believe that mod changes the plots a bit.

If you have missions from Atreus, that sounds like the Hub Plot. PMC is the HQ Plot.

There are a couple of points during the main AP plot which require you to "aid the war effort". That means, "Kill some Terran ships in the war sectors", or "start AND FINISH war-related missions in the war sectors".

• (If you start a war mission that ends in a non-war sector then you will not get plot credit for the mission -- even if the mission was intended to be a war mission.)

IIRC, there is no mission guidance during that part of the plot. I, too, found it confusing.

If you have missions from Atreus, that sounds like the Hub Plot. PMC is the HQ Plot.

Peacekeeper starts in M148 and throws you straight into the AP plotline, you still need to complete it.

Atreus Shipbuilding does indeed give the Hub plot. However, in order to start it you must be Boron rank of Queen's Guard, and you need to have found Atreus HQ (which you obviously have). With 2 missions from Atreus Corp in you log, I suspect you already have the Hub plot started and a second corporate mission for Atreus.
