[1.18 Release][BUG] Trade ship waiting for delivery that can never happen

The Rahanas is parked in front of a buy node on a Cell Recharge station waiting for the Fuel Cells it had purchased. It's not going to happen because that node has nothing for sale; It is a buy node.

Cancelling the trade does not fix the problem. The ship continues waiting for the delivery that will never happen.

It may be relevant that I'm using the Trade Scanner software.


The Rahanas was getting low on fuel cells, so I searched the Albion systems for a Cell Recharge station and went there to uncover the trade nodes (automatically with the software). This gave me a single fuel cells for sale offer in the trade offers dialog. I ordered ~1600 cells and went about searching the station for (i) nodes and raiding the docks for loot.

The Rahanas arrived and sent a message that it was awaiting transfer. After a very long time passed without the transfer happening, I began to suspect something was wrong and went to investigate.

I found the Rahanas sitting in front of the buy node. I wondered why it didn't go to the sell node where the deal originated and went looking for that node (remember I used the software to 'uncover' the nodes). After searching a long time, I could not find any sell nodes at all. I re-examined the trading dialog and the offer still exists, but there doesn't seem to be a node for it.

Have you tried to leave the sector for a while ? It's working for me each time i need to buy fuel.

And you can try to remove and add the Rahanas from your squad it will "unstuck" it.

Also for me the ships are docking to the Buyer Dock, and worked.

It doesn't matter what trade port the ship uses as long as it is a trade port attached to the station it is buying/selling goods with.

Also I do not believe the cell recharge actually displays the fuel cell sell on a trade port as I have never seen one after getting 100% on the station while seeing the offer in the trade pc. I like to think that may be because it is a different commodity and not one that actually gets traded like others.

Have you tried asking the ship to leave and then join your squad or vice-versa.

for fuel cells they normally fly into the center of the rings.

Had exactly the same problem yesterday in devries. Had to cancel the order but the rahana doesnt want to move or launch drone or wathever so he's stuck in the sector.
