No buying combat ships bigger than M3, or TLs

Where have they left me? Ssssanctity of corruption. Luckily I know this galaxy very welllll. I know of a pathetic Boron who left hisssss prize sssship in a deal gone bad, i could sssell that peice of junk for profitsssss if I want to claim back my beloved ssssship.

Sssssssooo, my fate awaitssss me, luckily I made certain, how should we say, preparationssss for sssuch a moment in my illusssstrious life.

The Boron have changed little during my incarceration, still just as wet as they ever were, no pun intended.....

....but through their controlled areassss I musst travel, my target, a little usssed ssssector ssouth of the militarisssed border between Boron and Ssssplit ssspace. Their endless squabbles give me amusement, but from conflict, opportunitiesss of profit sshall arissse.....

......Ah, Viel of Delusion, in whose foggy depths I sssecreted the ship that ssserved me well before acquiring...My Beauty.....a Blastclaw prototype. This ssship will ssurely aid me in my future ventures, like My Beauty, its enhanced cargo bay carried much contraband and therefore MUCH profitssss.

This region of space offers little to me, I must head to Ianamus Zura, the surrounding Teladi and Pirate sectorssss will give me the meanssss to make new connections and rekindle the dying embers of freindshipssss old, hopefully I did not upssset tooo many in my earlier dealingsssss.

....when the lightsss dim, and calm descendss once more, it's MY time, the space littered with so much flotsam, mainly missssiles, I am glad of the Blastclaw as the hold of even my greatly extended Beauty is full of the ssspoils of war, not my war of course, though that makesss it all the sweeter.

Into Paranid sspace...


Zealots! I am sure our paths will cross like they did many times in the past, although I feel their attitude towards me will not have changed much in my absence, and by my intended actions I guess it will stay the same as it ever was. But for now I have business in their domain...

A very complex diplomatic incident has left me with an opportunity, The Paranid have control of a sector that is rumoured to be an almost unlimited source of our most precious resource, Nividium! Many other races were keen to see this for themselves, but to be caught taking scanning equipment into that sector would have been seen as a threatening move against the Paranid, a sign of an intention to make a possible military attempt to take control of this veritable gold mine. But try the Argon did, and caught they were. BUT, they were caught by a Paranid team testing a new advanced heavy fighter, another clear sign of intentions of war. Although not a word was uttered between the two factions, the appropriate actions were obvious. The Argon jumped their scanning fleet straight back to where they came and the Paranid abandoned their Advanced ship, but he tension between them has been at breaking point since. And this in turn has increased tensions throughout the entire Commnowealth

I intend to take that ship. To be honest, my actions will probably suit both parties, given my previous reputation within the CW, the Paraanid can claim to the rest of the CW that the ship was a Pirate creation they were bringing in for analysis and the Argon can claim they had been tracing the unknown ship under the guise of a universe mapping team. HELL, I may even settle inter-racial antagonisms for a year or two. Everyone knows the truth, incidents like that don't go unnoticed, but as long as no one mentions it, politically, it never happened.

But that is just a by product of my real intentions, I need to start amassing a fleet, I have a feeling I will need as much firepower as possible in the not so distant future...
