Would anybody ever watch a streamed DiD?

For example, if I wanted to stream a DiD game, would people watch it and participate in it? I thought it would add a cool interactive element to a DiD, where instead of reading, you watch and talk to others and the player.

That's...... a good question. Probably depends on the quality of the stream and if I'm actually awake and coherent when it's live.

Do you really want to hear me yelling "the hammerhead is right behind you" in the middle of a dogfight?

Lol, that'd be funny. I was just thinking that it would be really good if you were in a capship, and you pretended all the watchers were crew members.

I would be interested to watch an edited version with the highlights. I don't think I could sit through a 6 sector journey trawling for missions/trading opportunities.

At the same time if you have a humorous disposition and can keep us entertained with your personality then I suppose it won't matter what the content of the game will be.

If i want to watch a sector long journey live, I'd just play myself.

So I doubt I really would be watching a livestream, however, if you doing kind of a videotaped DiD, I'd probably watch it, even if not edited, since I'd be able to just skip boring flight scenes.

There's no suggesting involved. The people who made it stated that it was scripted. It still stands as a hilarious mockery of people who take WoW way too seriously.

Back on topic, I think a video LP of X3 would be great, but it would take forever to edit the slow parts out. We all know what it's like to sail around the galaxy aimlessly. Nobody wants to watch somebody ELSE do it.

If you simply want to do a live show, I'd skip past the early building up phase and start the stream right before mounting a massive invasion. Watching somebody tear Paranid space apart with a fleet of M2s would be great!

This sounds like an excellent Idea, especially for the DiD I've been working on. It'd be easy to set up an IRC "Crew" Room, a shoutcast server for streaming and a teamspeak. Anyone interested?
